The Resort is located directly on a beautiful beach and clear sea, despite the boats coming and going. In the immediate vicinity you can see colorful fish, small sharks and rays. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished. The initial cleaning is good. As in other hotels in Malaysia, daily room cleaning is not provided, but must be requested specifically. They do not provide towels for the beach. The food service, for Westerners, is a bit disappointing. They provide a plate with various dishes (typically Asian) and then there is a very small buffet. Both in the morning and in the afternoon you can go out for snorkeling, the spots are beautiful. Courteous staff.

Multi-storey buildings directly on the beach. Possibility of connecting rooms. The restaurant has an Asian-only menu, fortunately at the bistro you can also order sandwiches and hamburgers (for a fee)! We took advantage of the snorkeling package in which were already included 3 outings, beautiful tongue of sand and turtles Only negative note, on the day of departure you set sail at 9.00 from the Resort and miss a morning at sea

It was such a memorable memories with my friends. Stayed here 3d 2n. Receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable. Bar was quite bland maybe because of Covid19. I was impressed with their room preparation as they actually followed the SOP during pandemic, sanitised the whole room before we were given the key. Only the toilet was quite small but overall was okay. Will definitely bring my family next year !

My second visit and I enjoyed it even more than the first. I took a snorkeling package of two trips a day for eight days while my friends went diving. Turtle trips take place every other day, so on the standard 3d 2n package swimming with mature turtles is almost guaranteed. Otherwise the snorkeling trips go to a variety of sheltered spots to view corals and fish. I saw giant clams, clownfish in their anemone, cleaner wrasse at work and moray eels, plus much more. The boat staff were very helpful, even diving to retrieve a wedding ring that one woman dropped . The accommodation is very good. The old wooden accommodation blocks have been replaced by modern blocks of de luxe rooms with ensuite bathroom and aircon, and a balcony. Block A has the best beach views, block B is nearest the bar and its nightly noise. No live band this year, just a recorded playlist, mostly crap. Fire shows and fireworks take place on the beach some evenings, worth a look. The reception staff are pleasant and efficient. Food and drinks can be bought in the bar/bistro, but meals included in the package are served in the canteen. The canteen staff don't have much English but they are keen to help. The set meals are rice-based and quite tasty, and the menu varies from day to day. Additional dishes are provided for self service, to add more variety. A bonus is afternoon tea where a small selection of sweets is available to complement the tea and coffee, which are available all day. I didn't know that coffee bags could make such good coffee. Wildlife - cute and agile squirrels scamper about the resort, a troop of monkeys lives in the forest behind the resort but didn't come near it in my time, and great big monitor lizards (rather shy) inhabit the pond next to the resort. Only one gripe - the wifi is variable, often weak, and is strongest near the bar.

I stayed 3 nights at this property in deluxe room C16: the room is simple but quite clean and new. I did not like the fact that there is no room service and no one specified it to me at Reservation. For three days the room was not cleaned, outside, in the hallway, there was a broom to clean and a bucket to throw away the garbage; to have towels changed you had to ask at reception, ditto to have toilet paper. There is not even a fridge in the room and they do not give water available in the room. The food is not buffet style as you can choose 4 things maybe, as soon as you enter the restaurant they bring you a ready meal, with cold and poor quality things; also while eating the staff turns with the garbage cart to clean the tables! I ate often in their bistro and paying extra of course! There are no beach towels available or even umbrellas! For the outings, the boat looks like a cattle wagon and it is difficult to snorkell with so many people. At 9:00 they had Check-out, yet the planes leave after 17:00.

The hotel is located on a wonderful beach. The staff welcomed us with a short briefing and were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The snorkelling excursion and all meals are included, we ate quite well for being in Malaysia, in any case paid alternatives are available at the bar. In the evening there is live music at the bar and one evening also a fire show. I recommend this property, the value for money is really excellent.

Hotel directly on the sea and what a paradise sea and really white beach. It is located on the most beautiful stretch of long Beach and in the evening there is a bit of movement with bars and fire shows and the hotel bar itself every night is sung live. Clean and well-kept rooms and fantastic staff. The price includes excursions and snorkeling. It was a beautiful experience, to be redone.

After a long mornings snorkel it is great to have a casual lunch (and ice cold beer) at Pelangi Bistro given its great location in the centre of long beach. The dumplings and sweet potato chips are a great combination and the pizza looked good too. Prices are reasonable and staff helpful. Carry out is possible

Everything perfect, Deluxe room (new part) clean and spacious. Gorgeous beach. The package includes excursions (unfortunately boats with numerous guests, but very beautiful places) and meals. The food is typically Asian, but good. Very very friendly staff! Highly recommended
