My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights. We were welcomed by Majid, the owner, who started building the hotel in 2009. It's a real family affair, he showed us his chickens and goats in the backyard as well as olive trees. There are seven rooms and we luckily had the choice of six as it was low season... More

We were curious and almost suspicious about this place because of the incredibly positive reviews we found online, but these turned out to be quite accurate: - The owner was extremely nice - The food was very good, though not cheap compared to other places around - The house was beautifully decorated, and the rooms make it feel like a... The owner is a very nice man. You can really experience the maroccan hostality. The chambers are very neat and very charming. We were the only visitors because we came in the low season and we ate with the owners family at his home which is attached to the auberge. The surroundings are magnificent and you can enjoy the serene... More

Our friend gave us this address and it was really nice place to stay. I've been there already two times. Once with my friend and the other with group of 17 people. Rooms are nice and clean, food is homemade and very good. It is very close to Ait Ben Haddou - we had a pleasant walk to the village.... More

We'd like to thank the entire family for the great experience during our stay at Tifaoute! We felt perfectly at home: cooking tajine with mom, an evening chat with the brothers and s'liman even took us for a walk through les jardins to the amazing grottes in the valley close to the house. Highly recommended! Due to our tight schedule... More

We spent only one night at the Auberge Tifaoute but it was a real pleasure. The whole family was so friendly and welcomed us with great hospitality. We helped with the cooking, played some Berbers instruments, were able to use the Wifi for free and spent a whole day hiking through the beautiful Georges which are just behind the Auberge.... More

I am a bit surprised at the number of good reviews for Tifaoute. Although the staff were very friendly and the rooms inexpensive, the facilities just did not deliver on the fundamentals. The pillows did not have pillow cases, or rather the pillow cases were sewn on and quite filthy (and presumably not washed between patrons). The room was simple... More

Verry friendly people who will provide you with home cooked meals. A beatifull place the owner build himself in the traditional morrocan way. This makes it amazingly quiet at night. Be sure to check out the night sky for millions of stars! Good place to stay!
