This cute hotel is perfect for a short weekend in Chefchaouen. Some of the rooms are ensuite but some have a shared bathroom. The rooms are small but this is part of the charm of the hotel. Beautiful blue colours, rich breakfast and great location.

This is the perfect place if you want to rest in the Old City, very well located; my bedroom was small but had a fireplace for the cold nights. Breakfast is delicious and well served, the best I had in Morocco!!! I can say the staff is 5 stars, they are all very kind, thoughtful, friendly and professional at the...

Stayed for 3nights recently. The staff especially Bilal are absolutely amazing, warm and welcoming. Willing to answer every question or take care of every need. Breakfast is great and prepared whenever asked. Rooms are cozy with character and a small den and courtyard up top to lounge. Good location in medina for this great town. Rooms a bit chilly in...

Don't come here expecting luxury, but if you are then you're missing the whole point. The rooms are small but clean, comfortable and charming. The owners are all friendly and helpful, they speak a variety of languages including Spanish, French and a little bit of English. Breakfast was good, typical Moroccan spread of bread and preserves with coffee and a...

I have traveled to many cities in Morocco and stayed in many places but none can beat the service of Dar Terrae. Bilal and Hanane were beyond amazing. They were always smiling, trying to see how they can help out. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in Morocco. One morning we had to leave so early, earlier...

On a recent visit to Chaouen I discovered Dar Terrae. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home. The manager Bilal met us at the car park to show us the way to the hotel, introduced us to other staff and showed us to our rooms & the layout of the riad. It was Ramadan,...

Differently from many european owners of riad who live in their countries and leave the management to a local person, Cosimo, an Italian from Lecce, lives in Chaouen since year 2000 most of the time and this is a great value for his guests. The hours spent in the riad talking with him and his friends from all over the...

Amazing couple will make you feel like home, lovely people and great food. In the middle of the medina, you'll have access to visit all around. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are really clean and comfortable. You'll have the opportunity to dinner in a terrace with perfect view.

We read a review on a guide about this place and we decided to come and stay. The very best stay in Morocco. This very blue guest house is a typical building in the very centre of medina. It was great to be so close to everything that we decided to stay longer. Breakfast on the terrace was really good...

Hi fellow travelers. Hotel dar Terrae was by far the best place I stayed in Morocco. The service was impeccable (served large fresh breakfast every morning, snacks and tea during the day, was invited to local events). The owners became quick close friends even though we didn't speak the same language, and the location was perfect. I traveled with 3...
