Excellent one night camel trek into dunes organized by Dar El Khamlia. We arrived late but it was no problem and our camels were ready to depart into desert dunes even by moonlight. Fabulous experience, great food and hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone whishing to explore the Erg Chebbi area. Avoid touristy Merzouga and head towards little village of Khamlia...

It's a quiet place, we had time to relax, we walked around in the sand and we enjoyed excellent food, which Brahim served. The days in Dar el Khamlia and excursion in the desert were far better than we expected. Since we wanted to experience the real desert, we were hoping for tranquility and slow moments. We also wanted to ride on a camel a lot, we stayed in the desert for two nights which was a clever choice. If you just stay...
