We stayed one night in the Hotel Chez Ali. The Hotel is beautifull. It has a nice garden and a pool. Our room was also very good, clean and with AC. Unfortunately the staff wasn't very polite. Here comes the point why I've gotten only 3 Points (and not 4): The dinner (Tajine) was really great and tasty. But I...

Chez Ali is a terrific auberge! Family-owned and run, it has spacious rooms, terrific service, a beautiful and peaceful garden, a lovely pool and some of the nicest staff you will find anywhere. In addition, Chez Ali will organize trips out into the desert and they are an unforgettable experience. My best meal, of several very nice meals in Morocco,...

I want to thank Youssef and Auberge Chez Ali for facilitating an amazing, memorable first trip to Morocco. Youssef Blandi picked us up at the airport in Casablanca, and drove us to Marrakech for a tour of some of the sites including the Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the souk. That night he also cooked us a very tasty tagine for...

After the noise and chaos of Marrakech and a wild ride through the Atlas mountains Auberge Restaurant Chez Ali in Zagora comes as a welcome change. You pass through a modest sidewalk entry into a little slice of paradise. The back garden is full of palms and fruit trees. The courtyard is tiled and there are quiet nooks to sit...

We only stayed for one night, but Chez Ali is clean, the rooms spacious and the garden is stunning. Minor issue in the morning at check-out and price might be a bit too high but a good stay nonetheless

For those of you who are travelling to Zagora, Morocco, you can’t go wrong by staying at Auberge Restaurant Chez Ali. The unassuming sidewalk façade opens into a cool tiled courtyard full of bougainvillea and tinkling fountains. The kids will love the peacock strutting among the palms. You can tell by the attention to detail, from the colourful tiles, Berber...

Chez Ali was on my list of possible places to stay in Zagora. When I arrived at the bus station, one of their staff was there touting for clients, and offered a free ride across town to take me there. Perfect! The hotel is lovely. There's a pool, though I never had a chance to use it. The garden is...

We stayed for one night and booked also a desert tour for one day and one night. The hotel was clean, quiet and the garden / pool is really fine. The tour was well oeganized and we got everything we got promised. We would definetely do this tour again. Experiencing the desert was one of the top highlights in Morocco.
