The hotel has a weird distribution and it feels very basic, but I would feel comfortable recommending it to all but my most picky friends. It does what it is supposed to do: provide basic lodging for people going into Machu Picchu early the next day. Having said that, the view from my room -if you stuck your head out...

The room was pleasant enough although quite small. My major beef that it had no outside window, just a view of an internal staircase (and guests going to and from their rooms). The guests would also have a view of us if we did not close the rather flimsy curtains. Given the fantastic scenery in the area, it would have...

Stayed one night during an organised tour. The rooms were a little stale. The showers were O.K. There is a room safe which a bonus. Hotel is located a long walk up the hill near the hot baths. Staff were friendly. Would try somewhere else next time closer to the main square.

We only stayed for one night, but that was more than enough! Damp smelly rooms, many with no windows. Ours had a window but the view was of the bins and cleaning materials. There have got to be better places to stay. Breakfast was ok, but rationed -- one slice of bread, one egg, one piece of ham!

A mix up in the Contintental Getways package caused myself, my husband and friends to be put into the Plaza Andina. We were stuck and it is not a hotel that we would have chosen. The very small front lobby felt like it had cast off furniture. The rooms on the first floor were very noisy -because they were situated...

This hotel was booked for us by our trekking company (Llama Path), and it definitely was not one we would have picked on our own. The good - it was clean, the toilet had a sterilized seal on it (and it looked and smelled clean), the shower was hot, and the staff was pleasant and efficient. I could not connect...

The rooms are quite average and the hotel is a bit run down. Breakfast was very basic. Overall the value was good however I likely would not choose this hotel again. The staff was helpful and tere was free wifi.

We stayed here for one night in June, 2012. This is a good option for a not terribly expensive hotel, and the room was very clean and the breakfast was decent. The hotel is located on a narrow street right next to the train, and it was pretty easy to walk into "town." Request a room with a "river view"...

This hotel was booked for us by our travel agency. My basic requests were for hot water and free wi-fi. Those are the only good things I can say about the hotel, besides the fact that they had someone meet us at the train to bring us to the hotel. We stayed at the end of the rainy season (beginning...

I traveled to Aguas Calientes with a friend on March 10th, and while we did not choose the hotel (it was included in a tour), we were very pleased. The room was very clean, and even though it was small, it had everything we needed. It was very comfortable, and there was a safe and a hairdryer in the room....
