Unexpected pleasure. Beautiful new hotel. Spacious room, great view and location. Friendly, professional and courteous service. I only wish my travel agency had booked me there longer. Right near the hot spring baths.

The personal in the hotel is really friendly and really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are clean and cozy. In my room there was even a jacuzzi. Apparently jacuzzi was not cleaned for a while, so it didn't smell good when I started it for the first time. Other two issues I had are there...

Last year I stayed at the Taypikala Hotel, and this year when I went back with a group I stayed again. The service is excellent and the view at the top of the hill is amazing. Everyone at the hotel goes above and beyond no matter what you need. So do not be afraid to ask. The rooms are clean...

I stayed here for two nights during my visit to Machu Picchu in April. Certainly seemed to be the best in the area. It would not be a excellent rating in a lot of places, but for Aguas Calientes it was great. Breakfast was excellent. I had dinner there one night as well. Staff went out of their way for...

The hotel is located in excellent location on top of the Aguas Calientes small city. Rooms & bathrooms are quite spacious. If you get a room in 5th floor, you will have the access for a nice balcony as well, where you can see a scenic surrounding mountain view. However, Wifi was very slow & always disconnecting. The table arrangement...

This Hotel is one of the best in Aguascalientes They have excellent staff and the price is mid-range , they wait for you at the train Station . I think the best is arrive early at Aguascalientes ..take the tour to Machupicchu and comeback to rest ..at night go to eat and depart the next day.

During our two night stay we appreciated the attentive and professional staff, the clean room with comfortable beds, the shower which kept a steady temperature, the complementary breakfast and the quality food served in the restaurant. I found this hotel to be a great value and appreciated that the hotel had a unique Peruvian ambiance (not a cookie cutter copy).

Be ready to walk. Aguas Calientes is a hill. There are no motorized vehicles in town, which is why we were so grateful for the staff of Taypikala Hotel who met us at the train station and ran our luggage up to the hotel. Our luggage was loaded onto a cart and two hotel employees literally ran the luggage up...

What we appreciated most of all, after the hike up from the station, was the warm, friendly welcome Samuel, the receptionist gave us when we panted in the door. We asked if there were any rooms free on the fifth floor and our request was granted. The room itself is a very good size and we found it very comfortable....

We stayed in Taypikala for one night. We booked the suite including jacuzzi and canyon view. John, the bartender made our stay. He was very sociable and provided us with lots of tips for Aguascalientes and Cusco. And, he made amazing Pisco Sours. Even if you don't stay at this hotel, please go see John. He will make you feel...
