I stayed for two nights. Very disappointed. Bare bones room which is fine. But had a big long hair in sink. On 2day there was no service. Had to go ask for a clean towel. Ran out of toilet paper! Breakfast was warm OJ and some old rolls. I would never recommend this place. They never say Hi. It feels...

We stayed two nights at the hotel, were met at the train station, given instructions on how best to buy our bus tickets for MP, and enjoyed their excellent breakfast. It is a small family run hotel and their attention to detail was impressive. It was clean and quiet, and inexpensive, given the location. It has a nice covered balcony...

The accommodation is in a good location, just around the corner from where you get the bus to Machu Picchu, as well as lots of restaurants. The room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok too - some fresh food, scrambled eggs, bread etc. Noise is an issue though - especially street noise, but I don't think the...

I had a little bit panic to go to Aguas Calientes, because you hear so bad things about this village. We arrived by train and were picked up from the hostel guy and they bought the bustickets (12US$ per way, per person) with us. Aguas Calientes is a really small village so every location is a good location. The room...

I can't fault this place. We were emailed in advance then met off the train by a member of staff who took us the short walk there (via the bus ticket booth for Machu Picchu, that was nice) and checked us in. The room was spacious, bed comfy and bathroom clean. They also gave us a packed lunch to take...

There were 2 hostels with this name, so be careful. We received an email that they will wait for us at the train station. There was nobody there and it was very difficult to find the place. Overall normal hostel.

You'de better arrive to Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes) one night before visiting the Inca's city. I trully recommend this hostal, cause of the location, accomodations, price and breakfast. It's a nice option, mostly because you can walk till the bus and train station in feww minutes.

I'd a really good couple of days at Hostal El Tambo. The location is terrific, just of the plaza. My room was comfortable , warm and very quiet at night. There's a courtyard where you have breakfast and where you can also chill out in during the day. The owners were lovely. Many thanks.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was not weatherproofed very well so it got very cold at night. Thankfully there were lots of warm blankets on the beds. The room had a funny smell and the TV did not work. The staff, however, was wonderful. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each day and they very kindly stored our...
