My wife and I stayed at this amazing hotel briefly during our Machu Picchu trip last month. It is the ONLY hotel to consider in the area. No comparison to the others. Large, beautiful rooms with real fireplace! Service was perfect and the restaurant was upscale. The grounds were so peaceful and it felt like a sanctuary. Staying here made...

I stayed here in conjunction witha fairly high end tour of Peru. We were here two nights. Of all the places we stayed, this one impressed me the least, although that is more of a statement about the other establishments. Grounds here were spectacular, public spaces, lass so. No probe m with noise from the traine

As a stopping off location for Machu Picchu this hotel could not be better. Set in an old tea plantation, now a beautiful tropical garden, this hotel provides first class accommodation. Our room was large and well appointed with a personal window/courtyard looking out onto the gardens. Breakfasts were good, but the dinner we had in the restaurant was the...

We stay at this lovely hotel one night as part of the trip to Matcho-pitcho. Staying in Aguas Caleinte at the Inkaterra Hotel is very convenient as it is very close to the train station and buses to the mountain leaves from a short distance very often. Rooms are elegant and very comfort. Food was excellent. All hotel is a...

This hotel is actually very delightful! We had our own fire place inside our own camasita! Which is such a luxury in the cold evenings after arriving from Macchu Picchu via the Royal Inca Trail! Linens were fluffy and clean. The pillows and mattress had also provided us that good rest much needed. My only complaint if any is the...

During a long-awaited visit to Machu Picchu, my wife and I were fortunate enough to stay at the Inkaterra Machu Picchu Peublo Hotel in the village of Agua Calientes, thirteen sharp and steep hairpin turns below the spactacular ruins of the Inca Civilization. Billing itself as eco friendly, the buildings and staff live up to a high standard of customer...

Stayed here as our base for Machu Picchu. Excellent service. The casitas are dispersed about a rain forest. Comfortable beds with large duvets. Good food. Didn't try the pisco sours (what was wrong with me?). Easy access into town which is lively and fun.

Our visit to Machu Picchu included an overnight stay at this wonderful hotel. We debated the pros and cons of staying at the Sacred Lodge at the entrance of Machu Picchu and I am thrilled by our decision to stay in Aguas Caleinte at the Inkaterra Hotel. The accommodations were first rate, and the food was excellent. The grounds are...

The hotel staff greeted us at train and carried our bag. We signed up for the Nature Walk at the hotel and turned out we were the only guests on this 1 ½ hour walk. Angel, our guide, gave an excellent tour pointing out the different flora and fauna. He showed us the orchid garden- very knowledgeable and interesting walk....
