This review is less about the hotel itself and more about the fact that my wife and I were taken to a completely different hotel than the one I booked. When I made the reservation online, there was no mention whatsoever that the real La Cabaña is currently under construction, and that we would be staying somewhere else, under the...

Newly remodeled hotel just a block up from train station. The staff was very gracious and went out of they way for our every need. The room had very comfortable bed and all new fixtures. Shower felt wonderful after visiting Machu Picchu all day. The breakfast on 7th floor attrium was wonderful with a view of the whole city and...

I made my booking for La Cabana Machupicchu Hotel but when I arrived to town, one guy with no english at all came to look for me at the train station. He took me to a new hotel that has nothing to do with the pictures I saw online. After checking in, a lady explained me that the real Cabana...

They gave us a cheap price, and we had our own room, which was actually nice with a beautiful bathroom, but the room smelled damp and mouldy and the heating was not very good. Granted it was pouring out for the entire time we were in the town...Our clothes didn't really get dry that night.

Friendly meet and greet at the station and fantastic welcome in the hotel . Lovely rooms with really nice little touches - sweets arranged in a heart on the bed and small dolls , hotel in perfect location - near to lots of restaurants and very quiet . Good breakfast and no problem leaving luggage while we visited Machu Picchu...

It was as we expected for a one night stay prior to our Machu Picchu hike. The staff was extremely friendly and made this a good stay. Wifi was spotty at times. Some noise outside but beyond hotel's control. Enjoyable stay.

We stayed here during our 1 night hotel stay for our Alpaca Expedition 2D/1N hike. We had a nice cozy bed and my parents were upgraded to a suite on the top floor with a huge room and sitting area. The service was wonderful and so was the breakfast. They even asked us what kind of juice we wanted and...

Stayed at this hotel now at end of January. The hotel and service is very good. They pick you up at the train station and from there it is a short walk to the hotel. Fruits, coffee/tea/water is complementary in the reception. Breakfast i great with good selection hot and cold options and fresh juices. The rooms are good and...

Very charming hotel, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, inviting lounging spaces at various points. Complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. The staff was warm and welcoming and provided great service. We had an early morning departure for Macchu Picchu and they packed us an excellent breakfast with tasty treats. They are a bit far from the train station and...

The hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier and the hotel itself was nice. We did have a bug problem, gnats, in our room and they moved us right away. Our new room was good and no issues with gnats. The hotel is up a long hill from center of town but nothing too serious.
