The bathroom was very small, old and the floors dirty. The location was good but when we got there the town had been without electricity since early morning and the Internet not working. The front desk clerk was nice and helpful. Breakfast not as good as other places.

The hotel does not live up to their standards, messy toilets, broken sink no water at night, loud noise from the river just outside the hotel which makes it difficult to sleep. Long climb up from the railway station

We stayed here for a couple of nights to see Machu Picchu. Pros: clean room, free wifi, breakfast started early for us upon request(very typical Peruvian breakfast), they washed a couple of my husbands shirts that he left out, great location, beautiful surroundings, kind staff. Cons: water temperature and pressure were unrealiable, bathroom floor seemed constantly wet. Overall we had... More

Hotel very clean, with warm water (which is very important in Aguas). In the room, there is a heater and TV with a good variety of chanels. It's very good located. Close to the train station and bus station as well. Also is close to the street where is located several restaurants. And the breakfest is very good, with 5... More

Overall, this is a good option when you don't want to break the bank in a village where everything is 3 times more expensive... it's a hotel with pros and cons. So here are my top tips about the Wiracocha: 1- If you send your train information, they go and meet you just outside of the station. Look for the... More

We stayed in Wiracocha Inn for a night as a part of SAS travel package. Technically this was an upgrade from a hostel. And if this was the upgrade - I cannot image how the hostel should be ! The hotel in a good location - very close to the train station and the restaurants. The bedding was clean and... More

We upgraded to Wiracocha Inn as part of an upgrade package with an SAS tour. The hotel was by no means perfect, but after hiking, sleeping in tents and not showering for four days...we were very pleased. Pros: -- hot water -- air conditioning -- comfortable beds -- clean rooms -- good, reasonable laundry service (at extra cost) Cons: --... More

Pros: Room was clean, staff was friendly, our room was on corner and had large windows that opened to let in fresh air, river is nearby so sound could be considered pleasing (see cons) Cons: Wifi was hit/miss, they had a number of routers/hot spots, but none of them seemed to work well, probably just overloaded; breakfast was minimal; we... The Good: This is an economical no-frills type of hotel. The location was convenient (5-10 minute walk from the bus stop to Machu Picchu and the train station). The hotel has an elevator which was nice, especially when your completely exhausted waling around MP ruins all day. The restaurant on the top floor has good views of the town, but... More
