We only spent 2 nights and that was enough. The rooms are cheap but the restaurant is expensive along with everything else in the town. You can book the sandboarding and dune buggies through the hostel for 40 soles (£10/$12). Wifi was good. Showers were average and weren't strong. Had the great pleasure of sitting on a toilet only for...

The hostel is clean, has good vibes, and good staff. The food is very good and if your on a tight budget there are specials for 15s for lunch. They have a receptionist at all times to help book tickets and tours as well. They speak both English and Spanish which was very helpful.

My stay here was a blast. I find the place very welcoming and quite cozy. Stayed in their Dorm and was quite content with the bed. It can get cramped with all the stuff from everyone but people are mostly out and about during the day. For the guests, they give 10% discount if you order from their restaurant. Had...

We stayed there for what was going to be two nights but at about 1030 our first night the girl in the bed next to us complained about being itchy. She looked at her mattress only to find multiple bed bugs in her bed! We looked in ours and found a few in each bed! Gross. We left the room...

We booked our sand buggy tour through them and had a great time. Our driver was fun and crazy but it still felt very safe. We paid 10soles extra for the real snowboards with boots and I would say we had a better time then the others on their wooden home made boards. All up 50soles a person including the...

Very good option for a stay in Huacachina. The menu was good, diversified and there was delicious pisco sour and other good drink for «happy hour». It was hot as hell in the bedroom, dormitory of 8 beds, but what else do you expect in february in Peru! They found us a wonderful plan for Sand Boogie and Sandboard: S/...

This was an okay place. No breakfast because they want you to spend at their restaurant. Food was good there but more than other places in the area. Wifi was okay. We rented sand boards from them because it was easier but booked our buggy tour elsewhere for cheaper. We stayed two nights and that was easily enough for this...

I stayed in Desert Nights for 2 nights. Very good location and nice staff. The negative side: no hot water and they have bedbugs, at least in the big dorm where I stayed. No breakfast included, but they have very good restaurant, big portions and very tasty food.

The hostel is ok BUT... We had 2 beds in a 8 beds dorm for 20 NS each. My friend was sleeping in the bed over me. When he woke up, he had a lot of bites on his legs and his arms. It was bed bugs... It could explain why that didn't smell good in the dorm. Other travellers...
