Wood interior design, friendly caretaker. We call them a place of paradise because of the perfect place to rest outside the noisy city. They have the balcony where you can see the good view and the perfect view of sunset.😊❤️

Stayed for 3 days in middle of the rainy season. After been to Sagada for the second time, I tried to stay away from the busy buzling central to find more tranquility and one in nature. While sending "Send to All" sms to all hotels in Sagada, Mapiya-aw Pension replied first amongst the rest. Thus became my first choice. Care...

You will enjoy staying in this place if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and to feel the weather and laid back life in Sagada. Near to the market and the Tourist information center where most activities start with as guides are required in most all of the tours. You may also opt to buy fresh food...

It is a bit far from the town proper, but the place was definitely roomy. It does get really cold at night, but you can light a fire by the fireplace. A fee of P100 per 6 firewood is needed, but it does the job. There's a common restroom per floor, while some rooms have a shared bathroom. There's a...

We will never forget the hospitality of the family managing this place. Our family had a warm fire by the fireplace every night and all our requests, including having food cooked (paluto) were granted to the best of their abilities. It is very far from the town proper and you need a car to stay here especially if you have...

As part of our tour package, we were booked to stay here at Mapiya-aw pension. Location-wise, it is quite away from the main city proper so if you are very tired of your Sagada adventures during day time, it would be advisable for you to do everything in the city first before going back to the pension house to sleep....

If i had another option, i wouldn't choose this place. But all the places i called for our holy week accommodation were all fully-booked. This was the only place that had vacancy. It's quite far from the main town and getting to the place was really dark if you go there by night. Also, the shower is not really hot,...

Our travel agent, Tripinas, booked us here for 3d/2n, for our Sagada-Banaue tour. My first impression is that they don't have enough people to assist guests especially if it is a huge group (40-50 people). No one was at the reception area to greet and usher us to our rooms. It was also kind of gloomy because lights were turned...

Of the 4 or 5 inns I contacted for our Sagada vacation, only 2 responded and only Mapiya-aw Pension had a vacancy. My research revealed that it was not in the town center and would entail a "short" walk, but my hubby and I decided to go for it because we actually like walking. When we arrived in Sagada, Ate...

We arrived in Sagada without a hotel booking and ended up here after asking for room in just about every other hotel in town. Much to our surprise, it turned out to be a great choice. The location is definitely best if you have a car, otherwise it is a bit of a walk into town. But the plus side...
