My girlfriend and I stayed her for two nights and left feeling very happy. The location is very handy (close to the supermarket and the Main Street of the new town) and the food prepared by the owner was delicious and very reasonably priced. The owner was very helpful at organising tuk tuks and recommending which sites to visit. All... More

We stayed at the Charm Inn two Nights and after 2 weeks we came back for one Night more, because of the Perahera and it is such a cosy place to stay. Sheldon is a very nice host and he will give you good recommendations what you can see in and around Anuradhapura... By the way: thanks a lot! ;)... More

Do not be dismayed by the road to the Charm Inn it will be sealed one day we hear. The room we stayed was spacious with its own bathroom and hot water. Another one we stumbled upon on our adventure around Sri Lanka. Shelton, the manager, was lovely and helpful in planning our trip around the old town and introduced us to a variety of other great guest houses. The Charm Inn has a lovely feel with a great outdoor canopy area, delicious breakfast and nice rooms.

Owner was very helpful and willing to negotiate on price of room. Walking distance to new train and bus stations, maybe a little far if you have a lot of baggage though. location is in quiet suburb outside of main centre of town. If you are a solo traveller or backpacker looking to meet others, maybe not for you. Could... More

The owner was superhelpful and recommended where to go and so on. We played a board game (you can see it in one of the pictures) and I had a really good time talking to him about everything from travelling and the life in Sri Lanka to politics. The rooms were basic but decent. The area was close to everything... More

Charm inn is a basic, budget hostel with spacious rooms and nice common area. The owner is extremely helpful - we were informed at the airport that Anuradhapura was flooded (and so were the roads to there) and that we shouldn't go there. Fortunately, we had the hostels number - not only the owner assured us it was all fine,... More

The owner of this hotel is a really nice guy, super helpful, and friendly. He helped me to set up a tuk tuk at a reasonable price, and gave me some really good tips on how to tour the old city. He also arranged for a tuk tuk to pick me up for free at the bus station, which is... More

Charm Inn is the perfect place to stay if you're on a tight budget. Shelton, the owner, is an incredible man. A huge joker, really fun and really helpful. Rooms absolutely great, communal area also v nice in both the day and evenings. All very simple, but lovely. Absolutely recommend anyone who comes to Anuradhapura to stay with Shelton.

We stayed at Charm Inn for 1 night. The owner is very nice and helpful. The guest house is located in a small alley so not noisy, and close to the old city. The rooms are very simple but good enough for the price we paid ! The owner was building some extra rooms also. They have a nice garden... More
