This place uses false advertising. They do not have a Spa or workout room. Only one restaurant with lala cate menu. However they don’t even have the full menu. Only THREE food items were available from menu. AC does not work properly in rooms. It cannot be adjusted. You are either freezing or hot. They do not provide even a receipt at checkout. Information on web site is all false. It is a DUMP of a place. Do not send any guests there or go there.

We booked 1 night to stay to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We had tasty cake and nice bed decoration too. Thank you so much for all 🙏. Our room is so nice and very clean. Our 2 kids were so happy and enjoyed there. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely we will be back again.

My stay at the hotel was not up to my expectations. The Wi-Fi was unstable, frequently disconnecting, and the curtains failed to fully cover the windows, making it impossible to blackout the room during the day. The mini-bar was noisy and the bathroom facilities were subpar, with the bathtub tap only dispensing hot water and an ineffective electric bidet. The AC didn't function as indicated and the food options were limited compared to other 5-star hotels in Sri Lanka. The hotel itself seemed aged and inadequately maintained. Despite renovations over the years, attention to detail was lacking. Noise from the in-room kettle was bothersome and the absence of a bathroom mat was inconvenient. Moreover, the extra pillows provided were unclean. The hygiene standards at the main restaurant were questionable, with uncleaned baby seats observed. The variety in the buffet was disappointing, lacking basic items like ice cream for dessert and traditional Sri Lankan breakfast options. The food labeling was inconsistent and the action bar service was slow and seemingly biased. I recall a foreign guest receiving service before me, despite ordering after I did. The restaurant also lacked juice options for lunch and dinner. I have tried Citrus Hikkaduwa like 3-star hotels as well. I should say, this 5-star hotel doesn't even come close to that. Great location with a beachfront view. Nice pool. The food was amazing 😍 Had buffet for all three meals during our two nights stay. The staff was very helpful too. Rooms were very spacious with bathtubs in the bathroom. Overall we had a great stay.

We went to Club Waskaduwa Beach Resort & Spa for a full board stay including lunch, dinner & breakfast this week. Food was averagely fine in taste but with a basic and minor spread of varities such as a soup, 2-3 salads, few raw vegetables, 6-7 main dishes with meat items and some seafood items & 2-3 desserts for all three meals. Hotel atmosphere wasn't that much pleasant because when we were arriving there none of the hotel staff was there to unload our luggages even the hotel wasn't occupied a lot and staff was acting like robots as they weren't well trained people. Most of the staff doesn't even know how to arrange a meal table with all utensils and serviettes. When we were arriving to the hotel they were cleaning the wall glasses and vacuuming front sofas so it was a mess and a noisy environment there at the entrance while giving a horrible welcome to the guests. If I mention about the rooms there were two types of rooms called ocean view rooms and garden view rooms. Garden view room's air conditioner wasn't working properly to cool the room atleast within two hours and the ceiling fan was not efficient to cool the room too.So it was very difficult to have a better sleep at night or to stay in the room at the day time. Ocean view room's Air conditioner was efficient to cool the room. Both rooms sofas were terribly dusty and unclean. Room floors were dusty. Washrooms were clean but some of the main essentials weren't kept at the washroom for usage. Tea & Coffee elements wasn't there in both rooms so we should contact the staff and ask them to bring them to us. I don't know how this kind of a poor hospitality service can be served for guests by a five star hotel in Sri Lanka. Pool was clean and the life guard service was done well while he directed us to the beach and have a sea bath too while his presence there. Pool area was neglected by the rest of the hotel staff as an example untill the next day morning they hadn't cleaned beer bottles and food plates which were ordered by guests and consumed at the pool chairs on previous day so it was very unpleasant to see rubbish in the morning in the pool side. Corridors were terribly bad in odour because the food plates were lying on the floor of the corridors which were ordered and eaten at the rooms by the inhouse guests. I think as a five star hotel your management and hospitality service should be done more well otherwise hotel won't be last for many years. Specially do a full renovation please. Specially some room doors are not functioning properly. Most of the pool area chairs were broken too. My opinion is you'll should have managers to restaurant area, rooms & pool side. There was an old gent seen there who looked like a manager but he wasn't observing the hotel properly. If you'll try hard to correct these mentioned minstakes and make this hotel a customer friendly place you'll can function this hotel with no issues here after. If you'll don't care about these stuff and stay calm there won't be any guests for you'll for sure because most of the people read bad and good reviews and take an idea if they should visit a hotel or not. Most of the reviews here are now seem like the bad experiences guests had in there visit at your hotel by the way. Just a fancy and well created website won't capable to have guests for a hotel unless you are capable to give your inhouse guests a better service with food, accommodation and all. worst stay ever, I was worried why I selected this Hotel for my yearly family trip and I have lot of negative pints to prove their service and facilities, we have booked 03 rooms, 01. We got rooms from the 03rd floor and we have given one room for our elderly parents, that room Biddet shower was not working and one person came and inspected that was only the solution they provided and no action taken till we check out. 02. Hand towels are there in other rooms but in my room only had two towels, when I asked the room service person he mentioned that, hand towels are not providing, after I asked if so my room room is another category? after he mentioned he don't know and threw away towels in a very hash manner. 03. Buffet was there for all meals with limited selections even if we need to order omelet we have to get it from the kitchen. 04. When we checked in they have provided 500ml 2 bottles to the room and after the next day we requested another 02 bottles for our elderly parents and the room service person bought bottles with a bill, I asked just imagine how two people live 12 hours with 01 L water in the room and they said it is the company policy, so we accepted however. …

Worm welcome. Very friendly staff. We stayed there as a group for our family reunion. Delicious food. Chicken curry was great. Good selection of desserts.Great service. They were well prepared to welcome us. We were allowed to take hard liquor to the premises of cours we had to buy bites and cheeses from the hotel. We had the beach bar for ourself reserved. It was a fantastic day. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

We had an amazing stay . Everything was wonderful starting from the welcome up untill the check out .Food was delicious and customer service was excellent.Rooms with very good bedding facilty , Nice view . Special thanks to General Manager who made our stay worth a life time . Thanks for the best customer service F& B Manager Mr Chaminda and Room Division Manageress Ms Kumari and Binal from the front office who made our reservation very quickly .
