We arrived in Kandy late at night without accommodation booked. We walked to Amanda Hills and they had a room available. The room was tidy with an attached bathroom. Breakfast was included which was great to eat on the rooftop restaurant. The price was rather steep at 5500LKR.

Our stay at Kandy was for three nights and every bit was worth it. The manager apart from being friendly and hospitable, went out of the way to prepare staple srilankan food as well as Indian food for us. Breathtaking view from the top and lovely ambience! Overall I'd recommend it for tourists wanting to only overnight stays. Value for...

i stayed here one night with my girlfriend. although it is all the way on the hill (take a taxi or tuk tuk!), it has a gorgeous view over the temple of the tooth and perfect roof terrace. the rooms are clean, with a/c and balcony. they are pretty small, but large enough for two adults. the personel is very...

I think everything was great . It was hard to find it in the beginning as it is hidden in between the curvy lanes up the hill, but we had a great time there. The rooms are new and clean, nice wooden furniture. The roof top restaurant had a beautiful lookout and the food was very good - from Sri...

Location is good, by the lake and slightly away from the congested town. Hotel was nice, breakfast good etc. only one negative, the staff didn't think twice about arranging tuk tuks for obscene prices, and I would avoid paying for any additional excursions or transport through the hotel.

This hotel is literally up in the hills, which provides great views. A little bit of a pain to get to but at the same time very quiet away from the hussle of Kandy. Very clean room with everything that you need. A nice "living room area" before entering the room that is communal for 3 rooms of guests. Happy...

There were five people in our group and we all enjoyed our stay here thoroughly. Jude and the rest of the staff are simply amazing. Very attentive and professional. The rooms were clean, very affordable and comfortable. All the rooms are grouped in three with a common sitting area. Since we rented all three room it felt like we had...

The view from hotel restaurant is amazing. The restaurant was good and cheap compared to many other hotel restaurants in sri lanka. The breakfast was also the best we had in hotels in this price range and included fruits, pancakes, rice, curry, sauages, egg, toast, orange juice and tea and coffee. The rooms were fairly clean, though quite old. Also...

“Lake facing rooms are spacious. There is no difference in an ac or non ac room except tht the ac remote will not be provided for non ac rooms. Also, in march frst week it was pretty cool so no use of ac rooms. Also the ac rooms are 1.8 times non ac room. so go for a non ac room if going till Mar. we occupied two rooms 301 n 303 for the same cost. while 303 was lake facing n spacious, 301 was small with no view of lake.”
