We had 3 comfortable nights at this beautiful place. The hotel location was just absolutely stunning for a relaxing stay. The service was great, special thanks to Nilanka for making our stay there comfortable! She was very helpful, friendly and gave us a great service whilst our stay there Would definitely return back here on our next visit to Sri...

The hotel has some great public areas, especially the bars and restaurants. Our room had a very comfortable bed, but the furniture was tired and damaged. The bathroom was small and narrow, with patched tiles and mould. The towels were thin and grey. The location of the hotel is great, opposite the lake and a short walk into town. The...

We had a great time at Hotel Suisse. The hotel is old and quaint and regal. The dining room is amazing and the lovely wooden hallways etc are so elegant. We were given an upgrade to a superior room which was fantastic. Large room with enormous bed and our own balcony. Dinner was excellent - a buffet in the ballroom....

The rooms are spacious, but a bit worn down. There's a musty smell in the rooms and bathrooms. In 1 of the rooms we had, there was a modern bathroom which was excellent. The older bathroom had some flaws, like unstable watersupply and hardly any warm water. Choice of food at the restaurant / bar was limited and the breakfast...

We enjoyed the walk into town on the pedestrian path alongside Kandy lake which was lit almost all of the way and perfectly safe. The road was busy but this...

We had 2 nights at the Hotel Suisse - the hotel was built a long time ago and whilst there has been investments made there are some glaring areas where more investment is needed, for example the Restaurant is in what was the Ballroom complete with a very good sprung floor, sadly the floor, had some weak areas where you...

Hotel Suisse is an impressive old colonial style hotel, with lots of dark wood, a really great ballroom and stylish bar. The pool in the garden is very nice and ditto the biljartroom. Rooms are spacious and comfortable bathrooms. As with ech hotel in Sri Lanka watersupply is poor and airconditioners stopped and started a coule of times by itself...

This was a much needed treat after almost two weeks of travelling in remote areas of Sri Lanka and having basic accommodation. We were very impressed. Rooms were stunning, very clean and comfortable. I had a bad stomach that day so it was nice to have good bathroom facilities! Restaurant had a large selection of food with very friendly and...

We had 2 comfortable nights at this very nice colonial hotel. The rooms are large with high ceilings and big windows. Big double beds too.Our room didn't have a balcony as we wanted a quiet room. It overlooked a garden. Our shower wasn't great, it was over the bath and it was hard to get the water temperature to stay...
