We stayed at the Kumbukgaha villa in the month of February and trust me everything from the moment we stepped out and check in to the time we checked out was just perfect . The staff is exceptionally good and so is the food . This is where we tried the Srilankan curries for the first time and loved every...

This really is in the middle of the wilderness and paddy fields. You most certainly feel "at one" with nature staying here. Well placed for visits to Sigiriya and Minneriya. The Villas are lovely. Food and service very good. Not really the best place for extended relaxation due to lack of the usual facilities you would expect "by the pool"....

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The service is impeccable from the kind and attentive staff, and the food was a delicious introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine! We greatly enjoyed making use of the swimming pool and watching the tropical thunderstorms across the fields was a truly magical experience. If you're looking for somewhere off the beaten...

This place is just awesome. We had stayed for 2 nights while visiting Dambulla and Sigiriya. This is located completely away from hustle and bustle of the city.Spotted peacock and other birds around. We stayed in a private villa with open bathroom and a sit out area. The bedroom is really spacious with nice choice of furniture. Liked the bathroom...

We used this as our base while exploring Dambulla, Sigiriya and Pollonawura. Its in the country side away from the hustle. The villas are spacious and tastefully decorated, with private outdoor bathrooms. The pool area is a nice spot to relax. Peacocks and other birdlife abound. Food was very good, the service was attentive and friendly. Our room wasn't serviced...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for staying with us and for the lovely review. The roosting birds on the rafters of the patio outside have been around for a while and we are always unsure how best to find the right balance between giving them the free shelter they deserve while keeping the patio clean at all times. We...

The food tasted perfect. Ask in the evening for Sri Lankan breakfast, they will cook for you an unforgettable meal. We can highly recommend it! But...

On arrival you are greeted by very friendly gentlemen who cannot do enough for you. Check in is very efficient and you are soon relaxing in your room or by the pool. The location is off the beaten track, but this is all part of the charm of this oasis. We sat by the pool watching the monkeys in the...
