We're a family of 5, and stayed 4 nights in Ganesh Garden. The hôtel is ideally located between a wild mangrove (aquatic varans and a lot of birds can be observed) and a beautiful beach ( you can see sea turtles coming for nesting), not too far from the village of Tangalle (nice market). Ganesh Garden is a very great...

We arrived in Tangalle expecting to stay for about 10 days, but after finding Ganesh Gardens we ended up staying for 27 days. We were not expecting such a combination of excellent service and beautiful location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay, making it very hard to leave. Nothing was a problem and everything we needed...

Very nice place. We wanted to stay in Mangrove Garden first, but it was much more expensive and Ganesh Garden is really nice. Nice bungalows, superb beach, good restaurant and nice people. We wanted to stay for only two nights, but we stayed four nights.

After Hill-Country sightseeing & trekking we stayed for 3 days at Ganesh. Due to the waves and the recommend from lonlyplanet (it isn´t true) we decided to go to mirissa. Mirissa is an overcrowded tourist spot, one "guesthouse" & bar next to another, short beach and last but not least the traffic noise just 30m behind the beach was unbearable....

As we were not the typical turists travelling much on Sri Lanka, we (2 couples) decided to stay for about 10 days in Ganesh Garden - and we have to admit this was the best choice ever. We had time to see lot of places around but this one is definitelly the one with the nicest beach and very friendly...

Would really recommend this place. its gorgeous and the people are very lovely. As budget travellers it was a bit of a splurge (only a bit, but well worth it). very secluded and quite. the only drawback was that the sea was a bit dangerous for swimming but we loved staying for a few days and just totally relaxing. quite...

We arrived in Ganesh Garden on recommendation from Mangrove Garden Cabanas, which was fully booked. The owner of GG knew that we were not able to stay at the more pricey option and quoted us almost 40 Dollars a night for a cabana far from the beach, when it can be booked online for 20 Dollars a night! (Guess that...
