Were staying at this hotel for several days. it's amazing place with very professional and polite personal. I think it's the best place in Tangale to stay. Recommend to everybody to come and see this beauty, listen to the ocean and spend great time. Also want to thank manager Manju for his hospitality.

Stayed here from 26th December to 1st January and booked the hotel for The Cabana experience. Belive me it was an experience! I have been visiting Sri Lanka for many years and have stayed in most of the best hotels. I knew when I booked this was a gamble. The location is great but these are the things the hotel...

Firstly the official description on TripAdvisor is out of date. The hotel has been significantly upgraded and expanded. They have constructed a four storey wing and new spacious entrance/reception - which means they have a lot more rooms and that it is no longer a small boutique hotel. Which means when you arrive you get an impression that this is...

Paying over US$ 200 per night per room for my family of 5 seemed expensive when we booked, even for new year. On arrival, the grand entrance gate and foyer gave us optimism that we had chosen well. This was dashed pretty quick when we were given a room on a different floor to our children, despite numerous requests on...

We waited for one and a half hour to get our room which was shabby and old. The bedside lamp was fixed with tape, the bathroom was from the 60s and we had 3 beds in our room (pictures attached). We were on honeymoon so we thought the hotel maybe put an extra bed for our driver! There were sad...

This place could be amazing. It has a great setting next to a lagoon with a bridge over to the beach. The pool area is also really nice. But the whole experience is severely let down by some of the worst, most chaotic service I've ever seen. They were full for New Years and clearly couldn't cope with the numbers...

Arriving to the impressive huge marble lobby gives rise for optimism, as do the well appointed large rooms with huge wet rooms. That unfortunately is where the positives end. 1 1/2 hour waits for the wrong very average food to delivered. "Juice" made with unfiltered unboiled tap water, almost raw eggs for breakfast or dinner if ordering the egg hoppers....

Part of the resort is under construction. The beach is not maintained at all, and reaching it requires crossing a bridge over a filthy river. The food is pretty bad (fresh seafood is available, but they cook it until it's burnt dry), I couldn't get a latte or a fresh OJ for breakfast (not even a la carte). At least,...

We stayed for two days and wanted to just relax by the pool and at the beach. For this the place is perfect! As the season was not yet started the beach was empty and the resort very quiet. Lovely restaurant on the beach with great food and atmosphere in the evening. Beach is too rough for swimming but the...

Locaion & beach is good. Food is very nice. Rooms are ok ( Decos wise) Bathroom tiles are very ordinary. Hospitality&service is nice. Good customer focus. Food is nice with a good variety. The only disappointing part was the accommodation given to our driver was horrible. He was not able to sleep overnight because of mosquito and absence of a...
