I stayed here with my kids. This hotel is very economic. For the price, you get a good bed, AC, private bathroom, hot water and it's very clean. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the whole island. There is also a little store on the 1st floor, which made it very convenient. I am going back to bocas...

The only ATM at Banco Nacional is always breaking down and this hostel takes advantage of their guests and tourists by charging them 10% to get cash from their debit card from their little store. What they are doing is totally in violation of the credit card company rules and regulations and is just about as sleazy as you can...

I was hoping to stay in a budget and this is definitely a good choice. The location is perfect, central from the whole island. Even though the noise level at night is pretty loud, I do not blame them, the noise comes from the streets which is something you cannot avoid. Theres hot water and it was decently clean. I'd...

Comparing to all hostels I've been, I found this Hostel not great but Very Good to be fair. We we're given a room almost at the back so I was wondering where is this loud noise other reviewers were saying, ours were comfortably quiet. The fully airconditioned room is a real value for $30 bucks a night and they have...

I stood with my girlfriend for three days, good things, well located, has a supermarket downstairs, you can pay with credit card, and is the cheapest. Bad things, too hot if u don't pay the extra ten dollars for the AC, the towels are too ware out, is kinda noisy and not really private for couples if you mind about...

Although you pay 20$ for two people on a double room, the room was cleaned with an air fan and private bathroom (hot water and clean). Good location on the center although it can be noisy sometimes. There is a kitchen to be used, much better so far from what we have seen in other central america country (Costa rica)....

The room was dirty and the fan did not work. It was so hot that we couldn't sleep. Even if it was not hot, we wouldn't have slept anyway because it was so loud ALL night long. We could have dealt with these problems because the price was very cheap; however, the lady at the front desk was in cahoots...

We stayed one night at the Zapatilla Hostel because we didn't find anything else the first day in Bocas del Toro town. The room smelled like chlorine which was good because it did not look really clean. The fan in the middle of the room was missing its case and was therefore kind of dangerous, the pillows smelled really bad...

The place wasn't very clean, our bathroom didn't seem like it had been cleaned at all since the last person. Our doorknob and lock was very loose and it's such a big place I didn't really feel safe leaving my stuff in the room. And at 4 in the morning a bunch of people came back screaming and running up...

Place is ok but not at all super. There is a kitchen but because of Chinese monopoly of food stores it's almost same price to eat out. So there is no good changes to save money. Also the kitchen is poorly equipped and quite dirty. Rooms itself are quite nice and there is own bathroom and shower with hot water...
