I read so many good reviews I just had to try this place out... we are miserable. I know the weather is not something that we can blame bocasbound for, but they could at least let us set our AC on lower so we aren't freezing our butts off! And, they can be much more pleasant toward us. After all,...

Dear Guest, Most backpackers enjoy our location of being nestled in natural pristine jungle rainforest. Guests are known for playing in the rain at the beach or doing the thrilling zip line in the rain! What separates us from other hostels in Bocas is the ability to have 24/7 A/C in all of our accommodations. The temperature setting is permanently...

Bocas Bound is a beautiful and secluded hostel on isla bastimentos in panama. its the perfect getaway for a few days after a wild stay across the way in bocas town. it offers just about anything you could possibly ask for. On top of that, the staff is top notch. Just a great group. They're helpful and courteous, and even...

My trip was long and vast, Bocas bound was a great stop along the way. It made the trip. Great beaches, great people, great sleeping accommodations, and the food there was a good break from the usual boring tasteless hostel menus. i was able to get my clothes washed and relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. I recommend Bocas bound...

I returned home from Bocas bound hostel last night. I have never written a review on trip advisor, but felt compelled to after such an incredible experience. I am a 30 year old female, and I have stayed in many hostels and hotels around the world, and Bocas bound was by far one of the friendliest and cleanest places that...

This hostel has so much potential it's a crying shame that the staff are so lax, the restaurant is so slow and the noise is so bad. The staff have wild parties at night that keep you awake ALL night. I finally got to sleep at 6am once they passed out after a raucous night of partying. Of course because...

Dear Guest, We are sorry to hear that your experience on Bastimentos did not meet your expectations. We apologize! We have received very little criticism about our staff albeit we are fairly new and still trying to be more organized and improve our service. We have heard many compliments about our staff being friendly and accommodating. Most vacationers appreciate that...

AC is good but this was too much. Everybody was sneezing and shaking in the dorms at night and I almost catch a cold... the aircon is set fix and it cannot be switched off apparently... this should be fixed as it is not nice to fly from a cold country to be colder in the Caribbean!!

The staff here rocks. A lot of young fun people that totally helped us with everything. We took our ten year old and 8 year-old here and they really enjoyed it. There is a zip line coming soon too. It is a hostel and not a hotel but we had our own hostel room with 2 showers and two toilets...

Stayed here for 2 nights in a dorm. Dorm had 10 beds with 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 basins. Looked like there were 4 or 5 similar dorms at the resort. Dorm had aircon which was great, no hot water but wasnt needed. Bathroom area doesn't have a door so you could hear everyones business. Beds comfortable with new...

This is my favourite place to stay in Panama. Its location is perfect on red frog beach, it has a wild and unspoilt atmosphere to it. You can easily go to the other islands by boat. The staff here are wonderful. From checking in, a staff helped us with our heavy luggage to our room, patiently answering all our questions...

We only intended to stay at Bocas bound for a 2 or 3 nights and ended up staying over a week! It is a great place to kick back and relax, lay in a hammock, read a book, play some pool or ping pong. The rooms are air conditioned and the restaurant leisure area is fully fanned. The staff are...

“"semi-private" can get loud. With or without amorous neighbors, the walls are thin . Dorms I hear are nice or try a full-private.”

“If you're going to stay here, stay in the dorms, they seem to be kept nicer and they have more space.”

“1. The last water taxi leaves at around 5:30, you should check to make sure you don't get stranded like I did... 2. The allusive nude-beach is a bit of a hike, and not really necessary since the locals tolerate topless sunbathers, however, if you want to make the 2.5 mile walk, you will need good footwear, as once the beach ends, you have to walk through the jungle a bit to get to the nude side.”

“Be aware that the semi private rooms do not have enclosed ceilings!”
