If you are coming to Delhi for a few days and looking for a quiet place, comfortable, family home with good Indian food it is the place for you. You can go out for tours anywhere in Delhi and in the end of the day relax in the garden over a cup of tea. The landlady - Mamta can help... More

We stayed at The Estate on three different occasions as we criss-crossed northern India from mid-February through early March 2010. The location is very good for busy Delhi. It is about 30 minutes from the international airport in the south of the city in a quiet residential compound with a small and attractive garden open to guests . (Guests can... More

We warmly recommend this BnB, and don't hesitate to inquire for sight tips etc from the extraordinary helpful and resourceful owner, Mamta. Travellers should be informed that this BnB is inside a gated community. The location was the only thing that stopped us from giving the highest rate. We felt a bit too far away from Indian life. But with... More

A friend and I stayed at The Estate for nearly a week for sightseeing around Delhi, as well as day trips to Jaipur and Agra. We stayed in the room called "Champa", which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My friend stayed an additional night in the room called "Nargis" after my departure. The hotel was relatively quiet, especially considering the... More

We stayed just for part of an evening and night during our last night in Delhi on our way back home. We had young children and were looking for a place to stay and put the kids to sleep etc. before heading to the airport at 11:00 p.m. We actually stayed at a sister location, 30 mins. from Indira Gandhi... We stayed 3 nights at the Estate. The decor and furnishings are beautiful and the garden has swinging seats. We were made welcome and a driver was made available for the trips that we needed. The food was excellent and the bedrooms very comfortable. It is very handy for the airport but a long drive to central Delhi locations.

Arriving at The Estate was like coming home - everything had been prepared for our arrival and we relaxed in the lovely garden whilst Mamta's excellent staff sorted our rooms and luggage. The rooms were excellent - luxurious and comfortable and with all the amenities and facilities you would expect in a top class hotel. The food was fabulous -... More

Some 27 years ago I backpacked my way through India on my way around the world - so you could say I am well travelled. Last week as part of a business trip, I decided to stay at The Estate run by the owner manageress Mamta Sharma. I can honestly say that Mamta is probably the best advertisement that the... More

This review has been a long time coming...I stayed at the estate twice earlier this year. Once for 5 days and once for 4 days in Jan and Feb. Both times our stay was absolutely brilliant and we loved this place. Mamta has impeccable taste. She personally takes care of everything her guests could ever want. We wanted a specific... More

1) Everything that was said about the reviews clearly understated what a great experience our stay was. 2) You'd think that you're in an Aman/FourSeasons with the service. 3) Mamta, indeed, to quote another review - IS a Hindu goddess! 4) I 'd wake up to chirping birds in the morning - how great can that be? 5) The cooking,...
