This has the potential to be a terrific boutique hotel, good position, friendly and very helpful staff, nice size, food cooked well however the little things were not good - soap dish at an angle of 45 degrees, shower head not cleaned so it sprayed outside the shower area, flush poor quality and needed a second knock to stop the...

Very Disappointed with the hotel. It's quite old, renovation going on. Paint smell is everywhere. The room does not have any soaps even, you need to call for that. No Slippers, The bed is not comfortable at all. The Breakfast is quite poor, no fresh juice, couple of paratha options and eggs. Visited here some 6 years back, it was...

Earlier known as Diplomatic Enclave (now Chanakyapuri), the hotel derived its name from the diplomats of the various Embassies and Consulates located in this area of New Delhi. Hotel Diplomat occupies a superb property, which is more like a large palatial kothi (which it may have been once upon a time!). Beautifully white exterior and interiors mounted with huge paintings,...

one of the oldest hotels of delhi but doesn't feel like on , bang on the main road, but away from all the hustle of the traffic, value for money, very clean place, staff are very courteous, the location is central with airport , CP and other destinations just a 15 to 20 min drive. Its worth the price.!!!!!!!

This is a good hotel, with quiet, well appointed rooms and friendly staff. A small but peaceful garden to sit in. My only criticism is that the restaurant, where the food is very good, is extremely expensive and the hotel's location makes it is quite an effort to go out again to dinner at a city restaurant after a busy...
