It's a worst hotel which I have ever stayed. No cupboards, smelly bathrooms and was there for Rs.1800. The rates of food is costlier than a five- star hotel. They will shave our heads. Pls don't ever consider this as a hotel.

This place should not be called a hotel. Everything is minus points here: Be it quality of room/bed, washrooms, room service, food etc. No maintenance has been done at all. Staff behavior is very bad. Avoid this place.

Pls do no stay here. It really was a bad experinece. Except for the location the hotel was really bad on all counts. The sheets were dirty, the AC did not have any controls, in the toilets the taps were broken, had to remind them many time after which we got hot water.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Kashmere gate got its name as the Mughal royal processions used to pass through it on their trips to Kashmir. This gate forms one of the four gates to Mughal King Shah Jahan's empire, the other three being Delhi gate, Turkman gate and Ajmeri gate. This Mughal period gate is one of the four surviving gates to Shahjahanabad and is the only one with two arched openings in the capital. Much of the structure was damaged by the British soldiers in 1857 when they stormed into Delhi to suppress the uprising. The damage done by their canons is still visible. It is adjacent to this historic monument that we have Hotel Green Castle which caters to the busy schedule of the business traveler. The free time can be enjoyed at the Kashmere gate greens which our centrally located hotel terrace overlooks. Standard Room Smartly appointed and stylishly furnished in one of two unique décors 150 sq ft Equipped with two seperate beds, plush sofa chair, and exclusive storage area. Three-piece bathroom including spacious walk-in shower Available with Flat LCD Television and Split Air Conditioner. ... more   less
