I have stayed several times at this lovely and well located guest house in New Delhi. Each time I was made to feel very welcome and taken care of by the charming owner who takes the time to be personally attentive and helpful. He goes out of his way to make sure that his guests are both comfortable in the...

Stayed at the Soi from the 5 August until the 11 August. Great location, excellent room and facilities. Aditya is one of the best hosts you could come across, from helping airport pickup, drivers during the day and even lending me a pre pay phone. Would stay here over any hotel any Delhi. The complimentary drinks and snacks are a...

Location I've stayed at everything from five star to fading colonial to seedy in Delhi but never before in Defence Colony: This is a pleasant quiet upmarket residential area, the accommodation in a separately gated area with additional security. 12 minutes walk from Defence Colony market (nice bar and restaurant selection), 8 minutes walk from Lajpat Bagar metro station [the...

My first visit to India and I was delighted with the warmth of the welcome I received from Aditya and Gauri. They were always ready with helpful information and advice. The hotel is comfortable and spacious. The rooms are simple but elegantly decorated, while the communal lounge is charming, with an interesting assortment of artworks throughout. This boutique hotel is located in a newer section of New Delhi called the Defence Colony. Defence Colony is mid-way between Connaught Place and the airport. When I think of rating a hotel, the most important factors are cleanliness and amenities, location, and hospitality. SOI hotel gets 5+ stars on all counts.
