The hotel was centrally located, the bed was comfortable and warm and the breakfast delicious. Unfortunately, that's where the praise for Amarya Villa ends for us. It was cold and foggy when we arrived and my partner had a bad cold. He went to bed for the long cold afternoon, while I spent my time wrapped in a shawl in...

Dear Teapotty1, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at Amarya Villa. The circumstances in which you stayed with us were extreme. Delhi suffered from the coldest winter in 44 years, and the night you stayed at Villa reached -1°C which was unpredictable for us. After almost 10 years of operations in India, we...

Very nice place, beautiful room, relaxing, warm welcome. A French touch in Delhi, except that the food is not at the level of the rest of the hotel; at least the wine (not French) is good. Advice more oriented on the trendy place in Delhi than on typical Indian matters, in line with the style of the hotel.

Great gem of a place - would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Delhi. From the welcome drink when I arrived to the 4am breakfast I was served before I left for Agra, everything exceeded my expectations. The food here - both breakfast and dinner - is delicious. The staff are very friendly and they have...

Thanks for this comment! We are ready to welcome you back anytime. It was a great pleasure to have you over the weekend. Sorry about the shower pressure, it has been sorted out. The cold winter had damaged our water pump and affected some of the rooms. We hope you had a safe trip back home. Best regards, The Amarya...

We really enjoyed staying with Amarya. We had a beautifully designed Topaz room which was comfortable although, being on the ground floor, was really rather noisy. The food was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They even supplied a mobile phone in case we got lost after a day of sight seeing. Just as well because the...

Thank you so much for reviewing about Amarya Villa. We are currently figuring out a way to improve the sound insulation in the room and have taken temporary actions regarding this issue. We are happy you used our mobile phone, it can save your day in Delhi! Looking forward to welcome you again! The Amarya Villa Team

I decided to spend three nights alone in Delhi at the end of a hectic two month Asia trip and before flying all of the way back to Canada...I needed a nice safe little place and Amarya Villa surely fit the bill. I had the least expensive room, up on the top floor alone (I think it was called Zircon?)....

Thank you very much for reviewing about Amarya Villa. Happy to read that you enjoyed how this ancient warehouse has been transformed into a boutique-hotel.
