Pictures don't do this hotel justice, lovely place and great location. The food was good though a tad expensive. Everything was clean and fully functioning. Staff very helpful and spoke fluent English. Great shopping outside your door on the Main Bazaar. Surroundings aren't particularly pleasant but you can't expect much from Delhi. Overall, great experience here.

Stayed here for three nights on arrival in India. It made the other hotels we stayed at look pretty poor by comparison. Huge rooms, spotlessly clean, nice roof terrace for an evening beer, and decent (although slightly over-priced) food. The staff were great, too. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. The location is convenient, although Main Bazaar is pretty charmless, and you need...

I first looked in at Metropolis in 2008 and it's come a very long way since then! The rooms are amazing, bathrooms outstanding and the service professional and attentive (none of that awkward being followed/stared at/nocking on the door 18 times a day stuff you get at most budget places! The location is perfect for Paharganj also - right on...

We stayed here 2 nights. Good location, great staff (except for breakfast), very nice rooms! A little pricy for a guest house but it was certainly heaven after 3 weeks in the Himalayas! I will certainly come back here !

The Metropolis Guesthouse is new, clean and modern. Very comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, flat screen t.v. and all the comforts you would expect. Pricey for the Parganj but worth every penny. The staff was great. Although there is no restaurant on site, food is delivered to the room very quickly from their sister hotel just down the block and it...

Nice, modern looking rooms with heating, western toilets, and hot showers. Flat screen TV. Nice, clean bathroom but the lighting was too dim and could be easily improved. The breakfast was included and was served at Metropolis Tourist Home which is a 5 minute walk from there and has a very good restaurant on its rooftop. It's pricier than the...

Nice, modern looking rooms with heating, western toilets, and (truly) hot showers. Flat screen TV. Nice, clean bathrooms. The hotel also has a good restaurant and is right on Pahar Ganj. I would stay there again!

Not on the cheap end for Pahar Ganj but the rooms look very modern, clean and spacious with both air/con and ceiling fan (although it can be dangerous: read below). The good points stops here. I have vowed never to return to this hotel, which made my stay in Delhi a nightmare. There was noise day and night: work outside...

We actually stayed here twice and our first arrival gave us a good surprise: This hotel does deliver on the quality and comfort of the room (we booked a Deluxe room), which is also very spacious. It does feel clean and new, and has aircon, ceiling fan, fridge, wifi, flat screen TV and 60+ channels, etc. There is no room...
