It was an awesome experience to stay with family at their venue. Never did we feel as staying in a Hotel or resort, where always we feel external. It was a totally homely experience. The ambiance was ultimate. We being JAINS were provided food which would not have been possible elsewhere. Muttubhai...was the person who made homely jain food for us and my children extremely happy. Would be more than happy to visit the place again and again during my visits to Delhi.
Such a wonderful team at the Bajaj. There is literally nothing they won’t do for you. Mrs Bajaj, Sanjay, Pradip and Vishu and the team are all helpful and kind and welcomed me like I was in their home. The rooms are all individual and have some nice touches. There’s a roof terrace and a restaurant which is ran by Mittu (21 year veteran!). My bags were lost by the airline and Sanjay was so helpful in getting them back for me. And when I couldn’t find the gym Vishu stopped what he was doing and walked to the gym with me! These are just 2 examples of their wonderful customer service The location is good, just 10 minutes walk from the metro which you can use to easily and quickly get around. It’s only a few stops to the main attractions. The internet is quite slow and there was a heater in my room (Ramu) which I had to activate before my shower but these things are splitting hairs. It’s really great for the money and highly recommended. …
For us three girls it really felt like home! The cook is great and eating from his hands is a must! The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are lovely. Service is great and personal. The location is very central and the location is very central and everything was easy to reach. We definitely recommend the homestay and will stay here again next time we are in Delhi. We talked to the owner and she is very nice and involved with her guests. You will not get better service!
The staff at the Bajaj Indian Homestay can’t be faulted. They are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are simple and comfortable. It’s definitely more personal than a hotel stay which is good. It was cold when we were there, and the staff happily provided us with a heater and extra blankets/duvet so we were very warm! The en-suite bathroom while spacious, did need a bit of TLC. The shower curtain was quite mouldy at the bottom and the towels while clean were grey from age and not white as they once may have been. Our room had a shower in a bathtub which was Ok for me, but my dad with back/hip issues struggled with. There is no elevator in the building, and the stairs (while beautiful) are a little steep. Most should manage them easily though. There is free wifi here for the guests, and on the whole it worked well. Updating my blog with images was slow going but hey! First world problem right there. Definitely had the best masala chai here! The cooks are very good. Breakfast was a small selection of delicious food, and lunch or dinner gives a good selection from an “a la cart” menu that is cooked fresh. …
This is a really excellent, reasonably priced, straight forward place to stay in Delhi. Many of the reviews echo how we feel - such friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean rooms, tasty and plentiful breakfasts and other delicious meals which can be cooked as requested. A cold beer on the roof is pleasant way to end a busy day of sightseeing in Delhi! The location is very good and once you've mastered the nearby Karol Bagh metro, getting around is straight forward. The proprietor Rani and staff make staying here a pleasure and we cant recommend this place more highly.
"hotel has rooms on 3 floors. All should be good. Only little size diff. could be there."Read full review
