I was so dissatisfied with this hotel I left after seeing the room and the room service. Things didn’t start well when our airport transportation didn’t turn up and after calling the hotel was recommended a prepaid taxi which was cheaper than their transfer price(400 rupees) . I wish they’d recommended that in the first place. the taxi was fine but wasn’t able to first find the hotel and had to keep using my phone to call them and then had to leave us on a main road because he couldn’t get down the creepy side street they were on. When we walked in (as two female travellers) we both immediately felt uncomfortable. There were a lot of men hanging around in the lobby and they were all staring uncomfortably. The porter and services that came to our room also lingered for way too long to be comfortable. The room itself was dirty with stained sheets and a pitiful duvet. It also looked out onto the alley and into someone else’s house. After ordering some food to try and figure out what to do we decided it was all too much. The food was disgusting and very overly salted. The condiment bottles were covered in dirt at the top and we did not trust the food. There was also people lingering in the corridors and even sleeping in the staircase outside our room. We did not feel safe and were not sure about leaving any valuables in the room while we were out. We decided to leave and try and find another hotel somewhere else but had to pay the first night’s fee.

If you are a female travelling it is a very intimidating environment. As you enter the lobby of the hotel, down a narrow busy side street that cars cannot reach, you are met by many men (presumably employees) just hanging around the lobby and who stare a lot. We were taken up to our room by two men who lingered in our room and would not leave straight away. There were also groups of men standing and sitting in the stair wells. The first thing you notice are the dirty “white” bed sheets with many stains. We gave it a go and ordered some room service just basic veg chow mein, fries and veg pakora. The man who brought it also stared at us a lot and lingered in our room. The food was extremely salty, inedible for the fries and pakora. However the chow mein was hot and tasted fine. We decided we felt too uncomfortable to remain and used the free WiFi to find another hotel nearby which we felt far more comfortable in and moved straight away. We had to pay for the night we didn’t want at hotel Geeta Saar too.

A basic hotel with rather low prices for a night. Near the Pajarganj railway center. It took me 10 minutes to find the street as it is very small and hidden. Nothing special - but enough to spend a night. Unfortunately you get, what you pay for: rooms are not clean and many have no windows. Bathroom a little bit dirty. But it was enough for me - I just needed a place to spend a few nights. Reception and service people - not helpful at all. Just sitting or lying around and being bored all the time.

People pick this hotel because of its vicinity from railway station. Its a well thought decision that one makes so there is no point whining about the pollution, crowd and noise. I was quite OK with that. Having said that, hotel has other very basic issues. The room was not clean. The white bed sheet was stained with yellow marks and it seemed unwashed. I could also find strands of someone's hair over the bed. The food was just normal and the only good thing is that they serve food till 4 AM. You can order beer from the staff but they are real gold diggers, charging you almost 4 times the MRP. This hotel is for you, if you have slightly lower standards of hygiene and don't mind paying more for a sub standard service. Will I come to this hotel again? No. I would rather try other near by options.

We were on a family vacation trip and stayed for a one-day transit at the hotel. We were asked to wait and were allocated a temporary room for about an hour after check-in. The food provided by way of room service was OK. The area itself is not quite good (being congested and highly polluted near to the Paharganj gate of the railway station) and is full of small streets with lot of run-down small shops, businesses and houses. I could witness at least one street fight near one of the dhabas. The service attitude of the staff was also not quite good - I do not know whether this was due to some special apathy to us. To make matters worse, in the night when we returned, the room was full of pungent smell of spray paint due to some work downstairs. We somehow managed but the whole night was a suffering quite far from a decent stay. In total, the experience was a bloat in our North India tour and something which we would like to forget.

On booking.com and TripAdvisor people seemed fairly satisfied staying in this hotel. However, we didn't find the room that nice; it smelled musty and humid, the bedding had lots of spots on (one looked like blood), and there was no soap or toiletpaper in the bathroom. The hotel manager was indifferent and kind of rude. We left and found somewhere else to stay after a few hours. I cannot recommend staying here.

The hotel is literally just beside the railway station. You don't have to take a taxi/auto and can directly walk to it even with luggage. The rooms were clean, the food was very good. However, the best thing about the hotel are the clean and spacious bathrooms. Also free luggage room allowed me to go out and have lunch nearby after checking out while leaving my luggage at the hotel. Highly recommended!
