It's been a number of years now that we have been staying at Iskcon whenever we have a stopover in Mumbai. It is based in a very good location of Mumbai, in the Juhu area and is only about 20 minutes away from the airport. Prior 5 years they only had accommodation in the main Mandir building but it's now...

I got married at ISKCON Temple. We had booked wedding hall there for the Hindu marriage ceremony and reception. Hence we booked hotel rooms for myself, my husband and other close family members. This helped us skip the crazy monsoon Mumbai traffic mess. The rooms are clean, simple, basic and very spacious. The twin beds are comfy. In all the...

Stayed here for one night. A nice small double room, airy with small terrace and sunrise view. It's in a nice location near Juhu beach and the staff, although a bit brusque, was fine. Had a fantastic dinner, the vegetarian buffet was amazing, every dish was delicious! However the deal breaker was waking up with bedbug bites the next day,...

Hare Krishna. The room was clean and had nice ornate furniture. Hare Krishna. Only twin beds available (as opposed to double beds), beds are hard to push together as the frame is not flush with the mattress. Hare Krishna. No help with your bags unless you specifically ask for it. Hare Krishna. 20 minutes car journey to international airport, 15...

We stayed at ISKCON in August. All rooms are twin. Rooms were very clean, great laundry service and helpful reception. Everybody you pass says 'Hare Krishna'. We did have to ask at reception every time we wanted toilet roll and we struggled to connect to their WiFi. The walls are quite thin and as people get up for the 4.30am...

I needed a quality room for 2 days in Mumbai under 3000INR/night - no ordinary criterion, let me tell you! I resorted to my trusty lonely planet guide and found the ISKCON temple's description interesting. So I went out on a limb, called them up, and booked my stay. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for money. The room...

When we entered the complex, it was like we'd left Mumbai and gone to a cleaner, more peaceful planet! The rooms are very simple, but clean, decorated with authentic traditional furniture, and have brand new modern (and quite classy) bathrooms. For all this, the price is quite unbelievable for this posh area of Mumbai where hotels run in the hundreds...

Our double bedroom was a good size, and fairly clean and looked out onto the temple which was very nice. The service we felt was quite slow and the staff weren't that willing to help us when we were inquiring about our train tickets. We chose Iskcon by recommendation of Lonely Planet, however we felt it was very over priced!...

We arrived to find no help with our baggage. We were asked to pay upfront which is always a bad sign in my oppinion. The room we were offered had 2 single beds though we asked for a double. I asked to change and they moved us to a room which STANK of some odd chemical - it was like...

This is one place to stay if you want to have ultimate peace in Mumbai. The tranquility of the place is magnificient. The pure vegetarian food and the herbal tea are excellent. The cleanliness levels are good and the property is very centrally located.
