We stayed at this hotel for 9 days as many friends and family have recommended it.

We found it to be average. There were some really good plus points which include the location, the room cleaning staff and provision of water. They also took some care of my young son.

The downsides. We had ordered soup for my less than 1 year old son. Specifically ordered without spices, oil etc. We get sent normal soup swimming in oil. When my wife called room service, instead of taking responsibility for their mistake - blamed me for accepting it. After a stern word, with the managers- this changed significantly. The rest of our stay was very pleasant.

The breakfast buffet is also the same everyday or left overs from the prev nights dinner. The pastry counter never changes.

I certainly don’t think this is a 5 star hotel. The rooms are average. There is so much noise from the nearby night clubs and the walls seem paper thin.

I have to compliment some of the staff and feel that this hotel could be so easily elevated to the status it has.

I was so looking forward to this trip. I have stayed here before and assumed it’d be the same great experience as before hence I didn’t book into a chain hotel. How wrong I was. The staff are rude the waiters are rude everyone is just rude. The other guests were rude and if we asked for anything it was a drama to get it rectified. I asked for a room service menu 5 days later I’m still waiting !!!!! I asked to speak to the general manager 5 days later I’m still waiting.
The pool was full of kids having swimming lessons all the time I asked when “paying” guests could use the pool and was told after 8pm! Like seriously!?
Breakfast consisted of guests coming down in their pyjamas pushing / shoving not giving a care about others. The restaurant staff were rude never took a full order, the spa staff were rude never answering questions and the managers walk about with an air if grace about them.
I always said please and thank you but it was never appreciated, guests look down at you as do the staff this place is an absolute joke! Do not stay here if you want any kind of rest / luxury. 5 stars??? More like 1!!!!

Well for a five star hotel the honest note is that the hotel its not upto the mark. The location is no doubt great, sea facing, direct beach excess and all but the rooms, the property itself needs a touch up. The check-in took like forever. The food is great and generally tasty, the room service is prompt which kind of takes care of some of the expected bells and whistles. Parking is ample - which is a great thing in Juhu area.

Sadly our 5 nights in Juhu turned into quite a nightmare on a number of counts:

We moved rooms 3 times (4 separate rooms) in the first 2 days. The walls, the windows, the ceiling/floors are paper thin so don't expect to get much sleep.
The hotel is under a flight path from Mumbai airport, so don't expect much sleep
My wife couldn't go in the pool without a swim cap on and her skin covered up
My wife and I had to use separate gyms
My wife and I had to use separate steam rooms

To add insult to injury, on New year's Eve with no warning:

Most drinks were doubled in price, The menu cut down to a third of the choices and prices increased by about 10%.
If you wanted to eat by the pool (off the reduced menu) there was a 2000 inr cover charge per person.
We were told that because we weren't attending the gala ball, we should eat off the reduced menu in our room.

The really sad thing is that the food was excellent as we're the staff and the very calm lobby manager (chubby chap with a moustache) who helped with our issues, but the more senior management had a delusional sense of grandeur losing site of the most important thing - customer satisfaction.

They rate themselves as 5 star and charge a pretty penny for b+b (approx £120 per night). The breakfast was OK, the beds not good at all and based on my previous experience the hotel isn't worth half what it was charging and certainly doesn't deserve 5 stars.

My husband and I stayed at the Sea Princess Hotel at Juhu and it was a perfect stay in ways more than one.To begin with, the ambience is quite welcoming. The staff is extremely cooperative, approachable, helpful ,kind and polite. The ever smiling staff- be it the security, or the staff at the reception, or the house keeping or the restaurant staff or the room service, is the biggest asset according to us. The rooms are kept extremely spick and span.We loved the food here and a direct access to the beach was a perfect romantic holiday. One can just bask in the sun by the pool side while one gets a view of the Arabian sea..it's sure to lend oodles of fun to guests of all ages...We would indeed add to the name of the hotel and call it the 'Queen by the Sea' . We would highly recommend the hotel..We are ever so grateful to them for making our Anniversary stay the most memorable one....

Love and gratitude

The Sea Princess Hotel is located in the Western suburbs area of Mumbai, right on the long/sandy beach with it’s own pool and really friendly and helpful staff. It provided us with a superb base to explore Mumbai and our room (on the 5th floor) had a great view of the sea as well as a lovely big, comfy double bed and large bathroom with a great shower.
It is in the Juhu Beach part of town which we felt was a very safe area for tourists and there are several ATM’s close by as well as the hotel providing a money exchange service. Getting a taxi from the airport or central station was really easy and it is about a 4 mile taking up to 1-hour in the heavy city traffic.
They serve a comprehensive buffet breakfast including a ‘made to order’ egg and Dosa bar along with a great selection of every type of breakfast you might wish to choose. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the a la carte food selection was exceptional, many local Indian dishes as well as some Asian ones.
They have a separate independent travel desk expert (Ashish) who was just brilliant, arranging several personalised city tours with a A/C car + driver and a magical auto rickshaw sightseeing tour of the nearby Bandra district, the highlight of our stay. My top tip would be to consult Ashish before booking any of the internet promoted city tours, his local knowledge was invaluable.
All the staff are really friendly and greeted us with enthusiasm, nothing seemed to much trouble and we were presented with a personalised cake on the day of our anniversary. We were made to feel extra special and talking to other guests this was the opinion of many of them as well.
The pool bar is a relaxing place for a drink or snack but when it’s busy the service was ‘laid-back’ but we enjoyed every minute of our stay, personally I would disregard the recent 3&4 star reviews, this is definitely a 5-star service hotel that will not disappoint a seasoned traveller.

This is one of the highly rated hotels by the Juhu beach in Mumbai. We were a family of two checked in and was even refused to provide two keys for the room. The manager promised to send an extra key to the room, which was later denied. It is expected for a five star rated hotel, these would be some basic asks.
The room was basic for the price we paid. The bathroom though has quality amenities and bed quality was also nice. The disco in the hotel is a big seller I guess. Only open for Friday’s and Saturday’s. However the big surprise was waiting for us during the dinner. The waiters kept us waiting for hours (literally meant that) while taking orders and serving. The served the appetiser after the main meal, while the order was given at least an hour back. The initial order was wrong and it took again much time to get it right. We thought of a after meal drinks and to our surprise the they served it wrong again. The bills was half charged and waiter had to run behind us to get the full payment.
We had complained to the manager who promised to fix it the next evening. To our surprise when we met the manager the next day, they’re also very lousy in getting the food and charged incorrectly agin on the drinks. The entire stay experience was held bad to worse.
There is a taxi rank outside the hotel, which happens to change absurd at will when going places from there. Overall the experience of staying a five stared hotel was ruined for us.

Had an excellent stay at Hotel Sea Princess. Nothing to crib or complaint. Haresh Malhotra was very courteous while booking the stay and ensured we got a good Sea View Luxury room. 6th Floor highly recommended. Hotel and room was clean and spacious. Room service was good. Special Thanks to Ganesh from Jeon 24 hr Cafe who took good care of Dinner responsibility. Suggested good dishes, was very courteous and had a Smile on his face inspite of the rush on Sunday evening. Buffet was superb and had good spread to choose from. Front Desk and Room Boy's were also very courteous.
Few improvement Suggestions :
1) In today's Covid time, suggest replace Soaps with Handwash liquid in the bathroom. Much more hygienic especially when more than 1 guest stay in same room.
2) Customer's like me prefer reading newspaper with their Morning tea. Missed newspaper service as was told it's stopped by the hotel.
3) Suggest try and keep some complimentary cookies in the room. Good to have with tea.

Overall happy with the stay. Definitely recommended.

One of the best experiences ever. From the day we visited for booking till the day we settled the bill was a smooth transition of all services offered. It was like my home function?
Kudos to the banquet & kitchen team.
A special mention of one Ms. Preeti Zaveri( Banquets)who ensured the above mentioned experience and a step by step guidance of do's & dont's and her in-depth knowledge in advising on the menu earned us praises from all attendees at the reception!

Keep up the good work and Excel further!
