The manager initially started a good relationship with us, as we were planning to go to his home town in Nepal. We thought we found a good place, we were wrong. The room was very small and the internet connection was weak. The beds had bed bugs. The worst part though was the manager. On the second night he appeared...

I had booked (and paid in advance) a neighboring hotel which shunted me to this Guesthouse when I found the room (a windowless prison-cell like cubbyhole) offered by the hotel unacceptable. My room in the Guesthouse (two flights of steps from the ground level) was next to the reception which meant I practically did not have to use the intercom....

We spent five nights at the Apollo, which we settled upon as, at 1700 R per night for a small, dingy room, after trailing around Colaba with heavy luggage for two hours it was the first place we could almost afford wiling to give us a room. Located in a colonial building probably dating from the 1920s or early 30s,...

I've to many places around the world, but without any exaggeration that was probably the worst place I've ever stayed in! The room was smelly, bed linens stained and filthy, and you could see mice running away when you were turning on the light! We stayed for few hours in the night and moved to a different place in the...

Upon our arrival, we were escorted into a room that has not been cleaned, the facilities beyond filthy, the sheets unwashed and stained, and the door had no locks on it. We were repeatedly awaken and annoyed by the workers. Not a good experience at all! They also ripped us off by overcharging us at ridiculous price.

Very good location, near to the famoues Taj Mahal Hotel and Gate of India. A lot of restaurants in neighborhood. We stay 3 nights in very cheap room without window. (600rs per double room). No bugs, no mosqitos, but terrible smell in cheap rooms. Bathroom outside the room very dirty. Helpful staff, but they want money for everything.

Mouldy pillows and BED BUGS. Thats all i’ve got to say. Couldn’t sleep due to what I thought were mosquitos biting me however when turning on light I found bed bugs crawling over our pillows and beds. After leaving here we checked reviews on this place and there was a review, in french, that basically described the same room and...

We stayed here on our last night in Mumbai and although the room was clean and comfortable the service was terrible. The price was not consistent and changed from manager to manager. The breakfast was apalling - a few dried out omlettes that had been made hours before and some indian dessert and soft bananascovered in fruitflies. There was no...
