Read the bad reviews, see a dated room, but spend a few days here and you will see why, despite what people are saying, The Evergreen is a legendary hotel. Set in the heart of the worlds largest gem/jewellery market place, this hotel offers basic rooms surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden... you could almost forget that your in the...

I was here in late 2004 and had a very pleasant stay. I returned in july 2012 and had my mind set on staying here again. I was taken to one of the rooms by one of the staff, and changed my mind. The rooms are filthy, the sheets are stained, the bathrooms smell, and the floors are very dirty....
