One of the most beautiful places we've stayed. The Raj/colonial building by the pool is a wonderful place to sit and relax the mind. The garden is just stunning and we could never bore of walking around it. Staff are wonderful and we couldn't recommend this place highly enough if you are planning to visit Rajasthan. It's a place we'll...

on arrival we were showered with flower petals, we then walked through a wonderful garden to be greeted at reception . We were then shown to our "tented" accommodation (bungalows with tented features) our "tent" had a massive bed , and a marble bathroom , wonderful !! prior to a lovely evening meal we were entertained by a local dance...

This is a former royal retreat where a unique experience awaited us. This is a heritage hotel, an oasis of calm 1-1.5 hours drive from Jaipur. We were greeted by a cascade of marigold petals raining down on us & walked through the magnificently tended gardens with pools, fountains & peacocks. The 'tented' accommodation/bungalows feature carpets, air-conditioning, a grand marble...

A beautiful garden of Eden in the middle of the countryside. Sleeping in a tented pavilion overlooking the most beautiful gardens, with peacocks strutting around the bushes. Lovely swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Was sad to leave and would love to go back. An absolute jewel.

Wow - what a place. Samode Bagh is a vivid reminder of India past. The public areas are just gorgeous, gardens magnificent and rooms beautifully appointed. The pool area is beautiful and - if you're there in winter - there's a rather toasty hot pool! Another bonus - Samode Bagh has the most comfortable beds I've ever struck in a...

This is possibly the most romantic hotel ever! It is remote with wonderful, individual 'pavilions' for ultimate privacy. Each 'pavilion' has its own marble bathroom. The arrival from rural roads to the splendour of a palace is made more memorable by the showering of petals at the gate, the welcoming band and the gently walk through the lush gardens with...

This is how 'Glamping' should be done. The rooms are chalets with canvas roofs. Very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect in a normal 4 star hotel. The food was excellent and, as usual in India, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The gardens in which the chalets are set are beautiful, and you will get...

we went there to attend a friend's wedding. The hotel room is clean, garden is beautiful and food service is really tasty. We had a good time there attending the wedding. But the hotel is a bit far away from Jaipur city centre, an hour's drive.

Delight followed delight as we entered the Samode Bagh through a gate off a sandy lane. Our party were showered with Marigold petals and we were escorted through the beautiful garden complete with fountains, rills and a pool with exquisite purple lotus flowers. We processed through pillared courtyards, past a wonderful swimming pool and jacuzzi and into another garden area...
