I returned to Hotel Meghniwas recently whilst staying in Jaipur for business. Its very peaceful with an old fashioned charm. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the terrace overlooking the pool is a relaxing place to have a drink or dine and best of all - the food is delicious.

Anyone traveling India and passing through Jaipur owes themselves a stay here. It is an oasis in an otherwise difficult land. Mrs. Singh is the owner and is always available for any and all concerns. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. Meals are tasty and the staff is really accommodating. Internet is better than most places we have...

Quiet oasis in a hectic city. Rooms at the back are particularly quiet with no road noise. The building is of an older style and has a very nice pool area at the rear. Rooms are spacious clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is run by the marvellous Mrs Singh who lives here with...

How, you may be asking yourself, can this hotel get such good reviews and be so high in the list when it is a lot cheaper than others? Fear not - this is a very good hotel. You will be welcomed here into a family atmosphere by the SInghs and it was very nice to hear a bit more about...

I spent two nights in this delightful hotel and felt very comfortable. This place is personal, homely and spotless clean. I would go to this peaceful place again if I travel to Jaipur. A great pleasure was the swimming pool in the well maintained garden.

We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 9!!! We loved the food, the pool, the friendly service and the lovely owners (including Benji). Highly recommend this oasis and a great place to stay and relax. Tip - pay a bit extra and get the poolside suite with the king size bed - perfect.

We stayed in two rooms with friends and family. Nice place. Good simple complimentary breakfast. Small though but had a good staff. Nice pool. But as there was no lift had to take the service of staff to carry the luggage on to the upper floors. The owner stays there in the same premises and is very friendly and flexible....

the staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful. our room was spacious, tastefully furnished, all facilities in great shape. any problem we reported was immediately addressed. Location is fine. food was good, though not on the same level as some restaurants we found in Jaipur, which were better and cheaper.

Our room was spacious and clean but up on the 3rd floor,no lift. The hotel as lovely gardens and swimming pool, the staff were friendly and it is a relaxed atmosphere. We felt the food was a bit expensive and the breakfast poor for the price. Everything seems to be extra which was a bit disappointing..
