Shahar palace is a beautiful place to stay when you visit Jaipur. The property is stunningly beautiful and the rooms are impaccable. Rooms have and attached bathroom and hot running water is supplied by a boiler situated in the bathroom itself so it is available the whole day. The owners are very fiendly people and very polite. The property has...

Stayed for 3 weeks during which the Colonel and his delightful lady wife Nalini and their nutty terrier made my stay memorable.I felt I was part of the family. The staff were courteous and attentive. Trees bloomed while I was there attracting hundreds of parrots to the garden. Peaceful place--perfect for my needs. My name is Simon Jones from Canada...

We really liked this place, because it was quiet and peacefull. Nobody is bothering you and it was a good place for us to relax after an intense motorride. The place looks nice and the food is good. The rooms are simple and not really new or modern, but it suits this place.

We stayed here for 5 nights in February 2015. Simple family run guesthouse that welcomes you into their extended home. Clean, comfortable, quiet and full of beautiful greenery and birds (including wild peacocks). The family's two dogs, Buddy and Jackie, are a highlight. Simple and good food in the dining room or on the veranda or garden. Lovely huge garden....

I've stayed in quite a few places in Jaipur and I like the Shahar Palace best - it's not the most comfortable or the most convenient but the Singh family were very welcoming and helpful to me (as a woman travelling alone). It has a rather old-fashioned charm about it and the garden is a peaceful place to relax away...

This was our second visit to Shahar Palace and again it was a lovely, excellent value retreat in Jaipur. The rooms themselves are comfortable and enough space for us and our 2 small children. The breakfasts include super fresh eggs and Western and Indian options. The garden is an amazing space, great for the children to run around and for...

I stayed at Shahar Palace with two of my friends after we came out of a 10 day Vipassana retreat in Jaipur. Well, they stayed there even before the returned so it can be said that we returned to stay there again. I was at once mesmerized by its beauty, the garden outside is amazing and the place so beautiful...
