This was last leg of our trip and was really the best stay of our Darjeeling/Sikkim trip. We had booked entire cottage, as we were three families. Everything of this stay was great, the vintage cottage, the location, 360 point picnic, the activities we performed. The kids were so enchanted by the place, they just didn't wanted to leave. I...

Vintage, pampered, cared and rested - all in a superbly awesome way!! Thats how the two days in Singtom were. Its an experience - the heritage building with loads of history, the super food, the breathtaking view of the peaks just after rains, the lush lawns (with Tea and pakoda) and the top notch hospitality of Mr Goutam and his...

Singtom Tea Estate is a perfect template for a localized and personalized experience of the tea culture of Darjeeling. Our stay was exceptionally smooth and the service, managed adeptly by Mr. Gautam, was brilliant. The tea menu, the boarding and the estate as a whole (the gardens, the factory and the lawns) were worthy of recommendation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!...

The tea resort is a welcome relief from otherwise super crowded Darjeeling. The owners have a huge tea resort and also provide a tea tour. Hospitality is awesome and they treat you with a buffet of home cooked food. It's not uncommon to find people with diverse nationalities living in each of the 4-5 rooms available thus providing opportunity for...

We spent four full days at Singtom tea estate and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is perfect as it is 15mn down from Darjeeling itself which is fairly polluted. The guesthouse is located in the middle of the tea plantations and has a large garden in which the children enjoyed playing. We truly appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere, the...

Firstly, do not go to Singtom expecting a hotel. It is not. Go for the experience of a customised holiday amidst never-ending expanse of tea gardens, mountains and breathtaking natural splendour. The access to the resort is quite crazy, but if you read up prior on blogs/website etc- you would be well prepared. The stay, for us was absolutely marvellous-...
