A very good budget hotel in this area. Kinda noisy because of traffic through out the whole day. More over busiest tourist place. You can get 4/5 nice restaurant just near by and Kolkata New market is walking distance, will take just max 10 mins.

It's central, sure. But the sound from the streets is gonna keep u awake. The bed is really hard and the staff is not nice at all. We survived 4 nights here though. I'd recommend to look for somewhere out of suffer street. Maybe salt lake. It's a nice area with an exciting cab ride in to the city if... More

We booked AC dilux room @2200 rupee!! Through phone... It was a waste of money ...this hotel ruined our first day of vacation.. Lot of good hotel outside within the walking distance for a half price...its a very dirty hotel... Toilet's condition is a disaster...bed sheet is soooo poor and the blanket's color !!!! Stayed in this hotel twice, not a good experience. It is getting worse with time as maintenance is 0. The prices are also high compared to the kind of rooms and services being provided. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location as it is very near the city centre and markets.

When you compare what you get in sudder street for 600rps, think on the value of 400 rps back home and indulge yourself with this (rather) clean, hot shower and ac room! This hotel is average for Indian standard but great value for Kolkata! The only negative point would be the absence of wifi, which is anyway absent from most... More

We stayed here for three days in February, in a suite with three beds, western toilet and hot water. Although the management wasn't particularly friendly, we were very happy with the room. Two reasons for the poor rating: I had a watch stolen (admittedly a very cheap Casio that I kept by my bed each night). Secondly, when we left... More

We found the hotels in Kolkata to be expensive and slightly misleading- look great at the reception desks but the rooms don't match!!! This place was straightforward. Don't expect much but it's a good price, brilliant location and clean enough. We had a good shower and the manager was friendly. Good for budget traveller.

I was traveling with one friend so we stayed in a AC doubleroom. We stayed one night and payed 995 rupees for that room. We booked a taxi through the hotel, he was late and the car was very very low standard, for the taxi from airport to the hotel we payed 870 rupees, if we would use preepaid taxi... More
