We stayed in this Pousada for 10 days last December. Originally we made a reservation for Pousada Praia dos Milagres, but we didn't like the location of that one and Patricia (the owner of both Pousadas) suggested that we move to Alto Astral, which is just in the center of Olinda. We choose one of the rooms on the top...

This colorful pousada is located in the center of olinda, carnival theme is predominant and the atmosphere looks very typical. The room, although small, was comfortable e the wifi working well; but we noticed not all the bedrooms had windows facing outside. Breakfast should be improved: mainly fried and heavy food and the choice quite limited. Nobody at the reception...

Olinda is one of Brazil's historical tourist spots, visited my many. This Pousada is clearly one of the best, if not the best location in town. It is well positioned at the key crossroads for street activity and entertainment and a short, but sometimes severe uphill walk to see the main square, churches and monasteries with the spectacular view of...

We arrived there following the recommendation of a tour guide from the city. We were surprised by such a lovely, well-decorated and comfortable place with affordable price. We stayed in a top-floor suite with a great view to the pool area and the garden. The room is big, with a comfortable bed, but it could be better well-lit and the...

I arrived here with no high expectations and got exactly what I was hoping to. Rooms are ok, small bathroom, narrow corridors. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wifi doesn't work at all. I stayed in a first floor room and just couldn't sleep because of the noise from the street and from downstairs - clients are sometimes not friendly and...

We looked at different hotels when we arrived and couldn't have hoped to find a better place. The hotel is beautifully decorated with various random colorful art pieces which fits well with Olinda. We stayed on the top floor in a nice clean room, also well decorated, with a large shared balcony on one end with hammock and sofas, and...

The staff is very slow...my check in took 30 minutes because the receptionist was not able to calculate the total price for the package of 2 nights. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast without variety and not really fresh. Wifi just don't work out of lounge. The quality of the stuffs in the bed and the cleaning is...

What I especially liked about the hotel was the friendly staff, especially at breakfast. I also loved the garden and the unique decoration both in the room and around the hotel. Brazilian breakfast specialities are served at breakfast along with fresh fruit and juices. Some improvement in cleanliness perhaps, or I got that impression due to an unpleasant smell in...

My stay was pleasant here. Although i don't speak Portuguese, the staff was very kind and willing to communicate despite the language barrier. The breakfast was very good and the art work is very comforting and unique. The staff was also very attentive and the rooms were cleaned everyday. There were also Suites that looked very nice. Nice People. Nice...

Loved our stay in Olinda (1 night only) Full of character, quirky art from the Carnivals in Brazil / Olinda Reception staff had limited English but we got there in the end with checking in. Breakfast - plenty of it, and one of the ladies serving us was full of smiles and very welcoming. Rooms all uniquely different, and plenty...
