Let me start with the positives first. The resort grounds was well maintained and pretty clean. We liked and used both pools available. We rented a boat one day for a day of fun on the lake, but it was quite pricey. We looked at renting a couple of jet skis, but we felt that they were to expensive at...

I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave feed back for the resort. We are taking everything you have said to heart. First the life vests are now included in your stay and kayaks are also included. The home you stayed in has just been updated with new stainless steel appliances and new deck furniture and...

Terrific time with our family at Chesnut Bay Resort. Tons to do, never felt anything was crowded. Godfathers Pizza on the premises, two pools, huge slide into the Lake, jet skis, boats, paddle boards to rent. CLEAN! SUPER FUN. If you are close to Weiss Lake this is a vacation spot you do not want to miss.

We stayed in house #32. It is a great home but it does have 3 levels and you must go up a whole flight of stairs to get to the first level. This level has 2 bedrooms and kitchen and living area. Then another level up has two more bedrooms and another living room area. Everything was great except the...

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us feed back it the best way to see what we are doing good and bad. I hate the air wasn't working properly for you guys, if we had known we could have called and had it checked out. We have put the kayaks back in as part of your...

Our families met here from 3 states. We rented out the Southern Comfort Home and it exceeded our expectations! The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views and breezes were phenomenal. They have a wonderful street party on Friday night that the children loved and live music on Saturday at Godfather's pizza (which by...

Average, indeed. Pipes under kitchen sink leak, which we discovered while washing dishes. (a pot was already in place, so evidently management is aware of problem.). Outdoor grill is in pitiful shape. Visible cobwebs ( I wasn't LOOKING for things to complain about, they were easily seen.) Only one roll of paper towels, which was used up quickly when sopping...

As a manager we make suggestions to the home owner about how to make there home better and how important it is to the resort as a hole. This review of the home was correct however, I will say things like the paper towels are very common in home rentals to receive 1 roll and then it is up to...

Family had a blast at this resort. What's not to like?? Could swim in the river, kayak, paddleboat, catch some rays, fish (caught a 3 pound bass from the pier!! Yea (: ), and rent jet skies and pontoon boats. Did I mention they have basketball/tennis courts and volleyball courts set up. We stayed in # 28 squirrels nest and...

We stayed at the resort last week for my son's birthday. I was expecting a great weekend. We rented a house near the pool (#11). These homes are NOT CHEAP and I had high expectations for the rental. We had a great 1st day at the resort for the most part. We swam in the lake and the slide was...

We had a family reunion at this resort. Great time. Very friendly and helpful staff. We plan to go back next year. This resort has lots to do for the whole family. You do not need to leave the resort. Godfathers Pizza on site.

Reunited with old college friends for a long weekend of food, drink and playing on the water. Chesnut Bay is very suitable to family though my childless friends and I found it perfectly suited our needs of a spacious, pet-friendly, economical weekend retreat as well. The property is well-attended and clean offering beautiful views of Weiss Lake from virtually every...

My husband and I took his mother and father here for a Father's Day gift. We stayed in the Lighthouse and had a great time! The house is precious but there are steps to both bedrooms so make sure your guests are comfortable going up and down stairs. There is a great patio area right on the water. My mother-in-law...
