We were really happy of our two day stay in Malacca at the Kapitan Kongsi hotel. The fact that it is located 10min from the city center allowed us to enjoy a peaceful place, for instance in the nice patio with the fountain. The staff was always nice and accommodating, for instance with the shuttle service combi !

Our kids room was not properly cleaned. The rubbish from previous guest was still in the bin and there were hairs on the bed and pillow. On the weekend we were there, there was some entertainment in the open space beside the hotel which went on until around 11 or 12pm. The staffs were polite and friendly.

We arrived at the hotel at almost 2 am but I didn't find any difficulties to check in. The staff was nice and did the check in quickly. We booked Deluxe King room and got a room in 2nd floor. Please note that there's no lift only stairs at the hotel, but we didn't mind tho. The room doesn't include...

Fortunately for us, we came during the weekends and during our stay there had a flea market just outside our hotel. The hotel decor was like a mini museum, my kids enjoyed it. a little outside town area but not that far. We left our car at the hotel and took a grab. The staff were so helpful and friendly....

From the frontage already been impressed by its architectural building, the moment walked in we were impressed by the front counter lady's friendliness and the antique decorative items at the lobby and many other corners in the hotel. Behind the lobby there is an in door garden with air wells, which provide...

Still as great as ever after few months i came back again for my work. The service was great. There is some improvements made. Best part the team members always cater to your special needs upon request. Rates are reasonable for the kind of service and rooms provided. Definitely is already a home to me..

Although located away from major attractions, Kapitan Kongsi surely won't disappoint you. It is a brand new hotel with small comfortable rooms at affordable price. They do offer shuttle service to Jonker street on weekends only. Friday and Saturday night there is a night market right in front of the hotel. It can be noisy but if you can sleep...
