The room is clean and tidy.. the wifi also is fast enough.. the only problem is no phone signal at all on the ground floor.. as the room was behind the reception, it was noisy as well.. parking is not a problem.. the hotel is 5 minutes away from the malacca town..

Stayed for one night, 3 pax. One family with one toddler. Location is good near dim sum restaurant.

Room size ok, receptionist ok. No phone in the room. And no lift. But I guess that's why the price is competitive.

The room is clean and modern. Like the toilet as it looks and feel great for a budget hotel. Their staff is friendly and helpful. The environment is very cozy which I enjoy. Water dispenser is available at the floor and a shared fridge as well. Astro channel is surprisingly available and 2 international wall plug is available in the room.

Overall no major complaint about the hotel. The Wifi is fast but there is no mobile reception at all, this is not a hotel problem and it happen around that area. Sound proof isn't the best but we coundn't expect too much from a budget hotel.

We stayed in the Vest hotel for 2 nights. It is located 2 km from the historical centre , but still in walking distance of the Jonker street. The rooms are nice and clean with a good shower. In the neighborhood there are some eateries like a bakery and fresh juice shop but also a foodcourt or pizza hut. Staff is friendly and you cab rent a bike for the small price of 10 Ringgit. In the centre it will cost you more! We would recommend this hotel.

. Was staying one night on Sat. RM110 for a deluxe twin room.
. No elevator, stair case only.
. No breakfast included.

. Hair-dryer, towel provided.
But no toothbrush in room, but you can request from reception if you need. (weird)

. Noisy, no sound insulation.
And there is a teakwondo beside. Assume the noise probably come from neighbour, but can hear the people talking from room near by.

. You need to pay administration RM2. (Yea! is true) I didn't realise when checked in and paid for the deposit, until checked out. And its my first time hear about that. strange! I've been stayed all kind of accommodation, hotel or hostel, none of them will need a guest to pay that.

Lastly, receptionist doesn't look kind and friendly at all.
I wouldn't consider this hotel and wont recommend to my friends.

Be frankly with this price, I surely there are more hostel or Inn locate at jonker street could provide better service than Vrest and without that unnecessary administration fee.

Room is clean. Even room space is not big but it's actually enough for two person. Toilet is clean. No elevator in the hotel so we need to carry our own luggage up to 3rd floor. But overall it's worth to stay here.

They're a bed bugs in the room!!! We stayed for 2 nights. We found bed bugs on the 1st night and complained to the guest counter. I asked to changed the bed sheet & comforter, but they said replacement bed sheet & comforter are out of stock!! How are we going to sleep with the bed bugs?? The cleaner just cleaned the bed sheet & comforter and vacuum the room. The same thing happened for the 2nd nights. They're still a bed bugs inside the room. This time we asked the guest counter to change the sheet & comforter but she refused because the cleaner staff is only available until 5pm. I want to talk to the hotel owner but she said the owner is out for the honeymoon and don't want to be disturbed. I want for a solution, not let the guest find the solution for you! Bad service! Bad guest counter! Because t's a new hotel with nice facilities, but it's still bad because the management didn't want to take the responsibility.

It was surprisingly up to my expectations. They provide bicycle rental for their hotel guest RM10/day which is really convenient as the hotel was located nearby Jonker Street. Even though the phone signal was bad but the wifi was good. I don't think it is inconvenient as nowadays most ppl are using smartphones. We can stay connected to the world using internet. The room was clean, cozy, cooling and comfortable even we switch off the air-cond. Hair dryer provided as well. For a budget hotel, they have all you need and some additional what you might need. Strongly recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights, check in was smooth and receptionist was friendly. Hotel is brand new. We did not realised the hotel does not have lift, so if you are coming with a lot of luggages, look elsewhere. The ground floor rooms does not have good cell phone receptions, so we decided to stay on first floor in the end. No one in hotel helped us with the luggage. We stayed in a small room without window, I would suggest that you chose a higher rate room with windows. Room is basic and small but adequate for us as we did not stay in the room for the whole day but just to return to rest at night. In the morning the corridor gets very noisy with children running around, perhaps the sound proofing is not that great. if you are on budget and looking for a place to just sleep this will be suitable for you.
