We arrived at this hotel at about 2.30p.m. and we tried our luck to check in earlier than 3p.m.. Guess what~ we were allowed to check in at 2.35p.m. since the room was ready! This hotel is just about 15 minute walk from the jonker street, which means it is neither secluded nor crowded. Some famous restaurants and attractions are just within walking distance e.g. the Ban Lee Siang restauran (satay celup) is just 3 min walking distance from the hotel itself. If you dislike walking or you are travelling with family members, then maybe this hotel isn't good enough for you, otherwise it is just great for you to exercise a bit. And we were enjoying the street view and the building while walking from one destination to the next. The hotel environment was clean and it always smell good. The lighting was great and basic amenities were in good condition. Room was clean and in good condition (just the bathroom door lock was a bit loosen). Overall, it is good.

About 10-15min walk to Jonker street. Room is pretty clean and has balcony. Fully equipped. Complimentary bottled water. No bathroom slippers. No bath robes. Decent breakfast, although not many choices. Replenished food consistently. Will recommend this hotel to my friends.

After seeing all the “good reviews” from a booking website, I decided to try this hotel. To my disappointment: 1) room and toilet looks old & just average clean. 2) carpark is outdoor with no shade at all not even a tree. 3) check in strictly at 3pm, no allowance, I go Melaka every year and this is the first hotel in Melaka which I check in at 3pm. 4) not in a good location, do not recommend to those not driving There are better options in Melaka with the same price. Will not stay again & don’t recommend.

The moment you walk into the lobby the ambience is beautiful and welcoming. Beautifully decorated with lovely little touches, like the complimentary sugar biscuits and lemon water in one corner. I booked the Junior Double Room with King sized bed. Excellent space with an armchair on the corner. The king-sized rooms are all locatd in th corners of the hotel, hence the extra space for the armchair. Makes a big difference. Room very clean and bright. Fantastic aircon. Rainforest shower. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Kudos to two of my favourite, Nasz & Tasya. Always with a smile and a welcoming greeting. Arissa has its own private car park which is excellent. Access to hotel and lift landing safe with personalised keycards. Location is excellent with Jonkers Street and many food establishments within walking distance. However road traffic around the hotel, Ong Kim Wee, Gajah Berang, tends to be heavy throughout the day and especially on weekends, so the walking locations to this hotel and carpark faciloities comes in handy.

Everything in this hotel is just nice for me. In terms of location which I prefer to stay away from those tourist attraction areas. Secondly, the space and design of the hotel room, very nice, furnitures are new, everything so white & bright colour which gives me the warm feeling, at night time feels really cozy. Thirdly, the bathroom is just nice and very clean. They have enough parking spaces for hotel guests. Nearby there are many shops and it is not hard to find foods as well. Overall, I am very satisfied of my stay here
