Really really liked this place! Unfortunately we only stayed here one night as we were only in Melaka for two nights and the previous nights hostel was not great. The staff were really friendly and super helpful the dorms are newly renovated, clean, comfy and the beds are very private. It's the communal areas that really make it, there is... More

We had a very nice stay at Ringo's Foyer Guesthouse. The owner Howard is very helpful and gave us much information about the city. We stayed 2 nights in the dorm. The dorm is completely renewed and the beds can be closed with a curtain for more privacy. Everything is very clean. You get free breakfast which is freshly made... More

This is the perfect accommodation for budget and chilled out travelers. Howard and his family make you feel so welcome you never want to leave. We stayed in a double room that was basic but so comfortable. Bathrooms are shared but always clean. The included breakfast was different every day and was perfect for kickstarting the day. Free tea, coffee... More

Ringo's is the home of all backpackers living in it. I'm extremely surprised by the tremendous sense of ownership that guests have towards this place. When I arrived, two Dutch girls (fellow guests) opened the door for me and ushered me all the way up the rooftop to meet the owner's wife. The next day, a European girl served me... More

I've traveled a lot in SE Asia (around a year total) and this is one of, if not, the best hostel I've stayed in for the following reasons: - very caring and personable owners. Howard and his wife are always around, they will learn your name and treat you like family while you are there. Howard introduced me to other... More

We stayed at Ringo's Foyer at the beginning of August, and it is great. There is vintage stuff lying around everywhere (even an old arcadegame / NeoGeo machine you can play for free). The owner is a positive energy machine and full of great tips. Room are spacious and I guess most have aircon (we had). It is great value,... More

Clean place. Excellent service. I will recommand dorm beds instead of private room coz the quality of bed is much better. There is a unique rooftop which you can get access to for peaceful night view.

Howard, the owner of Ringo's Foyer guesthouse has a unique policy towards cyclists and allows them to stay for free on the rooftop, which I did 😊 Needless to say it's the perfect stop if you're "cycling around the world". Also for other travelers it's a great place not only because of its central but quiet location, it's especially the... More

I stayed here with 4 other members of my family, 2 adults and 2 kids. First off the whole place is not in great shape, there is literally no sort of decor at all and the paint is peeling off the walls which they really had no excuse for as there was staff sitting around and there were weren't many... I stayed at Ringos a short time but it was enough to get in contact, have a nice Indian food and watch star wars whole night. The rooms are basic but clean and the staff is very nice. Highly Recommended!
