Stayed for few days before Christmas 2020. The hotel is designed and looks like a 5 star hotel but the quality is 3-3.5 star, which is fair for the price paid. They have cleverly made the aesthetics very pretty and luxurious looking, but you get what you paid for, so cannot expect the quality of the fittings to be premium.

Pros - good looking hotel, nevermind that it is in shoplots, the inside looks and feel like a proper hotel. Rooms are modern and contemporarily designed. Sufficiently clean. Staff is good and polite. Has satellite TV, bathtub, shower. Hotel is only a few years old.

Cons - Bed is too hard (no idea why). Hotel does not have own secure car park (you park on the road by the shops / parking area under the bridge). There is no view if you get the back facing room, your window looks at the back of other shoplots and you will need to have the curtains on. Soundproofing not the best but there were not much disturbances from guests when we were there. You will hear people talking in the corridor or from other rooms if they are loud.

Hotel suited my needs for a 3D2N stay. i don't think i could sleep on the bed for another day. We did not take breakfast with our stay. If you are looking for a typical hotel experience where you will need to stay in, will use hotel facilities and need peace and quiet, this will not be suitable. But for a short city stay, i think it serves the purpose sufficiently.

Fairly new place..Plenty of amenities in room, well stocked with all the toiletries you might need. Walking distance to 2 shopping centres and most of the tourist attractions .Breakfast
could be improved ,caters to Asians. Asked for vegetarian meal and got. Could have more fruit, and better bread ,pastries. Rooms are comfy, though not very soundproofed, if you have noisy neighbours , good luck. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Pool is a bit chilly, but heh it's an indoor pool. The sauna helped warm things up . All in all a nice place, hope they maintain the place in the future.

Stayed here for 2 nights.
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is big and clean. The location of the hotel is quite near Mahkota Parade and Melaka Megamall. Breakfast is decent although the spread may be limited.
Cons: We find the room quite dark. The shower head pressure is not consistent sometimes too strong, other times too weak. Our room is facing the flyover so it may be noisy.

Stylish hotel interior design and easy to find hotel location. Easy access with walking distance to Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade and Menara Taming Sari. Very convenient. Stayed for 2 nights at 312 and yes only few hotels now have bath tub and this is one of the hotel, but the bath tub stopper faulty and every time we have to call maintenance to dispense. One thing turned off our day was their breakfast. We understand of the pandemic attacked but looked at their hotel occupancy they should serve buffet breakfast with SOP. Unfortunately, only set of breakfast Asian or Western which served cold, and we have waited about 15 minutes at dine-in table, which we expected they prepared hot meals. 2nd day we did not turn up for breakfast as we feel frustration on the 1st day. Housekeeping was friendly, Front desk need to wear mask when serve guests and more concerned about SOP during this period.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and choose the Moty Hotel as the preferred option. In addition to its strategic location, this hotel is close to attractions around the historic city of Malacca. In terms of service that we receive by the hotel staff is not too special. We are greeted by the receptionist and no personal engagement such as your name use. In terms of cleanliness of the room, it is less satisfying. We feel very disappointed because it is not as expected. Your Hotel has a beautiful design but not in terms of cleanliness. There is a hair in bed, smell less pleasant sheets and dust. It is hoped that the hotel will improve cleanliness and staff relationship with guests. Treat as you would like to be treated.

We (a family of 4) stayed here for 1 night in the Deluxe room King bed on the 3rd floor. We were given connecting rooms as requested

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and come with a large bathtub. The aircon was strong and the bed was comfy. The wifi connection is weak and unstable. Public parking is outside the hotel (need to pay).

Shopping malls, and 24 Hr self- service laundry shop are just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was ok. They served nasi lemak, curry chicken, porridge fresh-cut fruits, and pastries. The restaurant staff were friendly and always put on a smiling face. Overall stay was ok.

While the room is huge for FAMILY ROOM, there are still a few amenities that was not in place. No ironing board despite there is an iron. Hairdryer is spoilt. Housekeeping should be able to check all amenities while cleaning rooms. Any maintenance issues should be highlighted to the maintenance team on the spot. Breakfast spread was nothing to WOW about as it is limited. But I must give credit to the Malay gentleman who is running the Café. He took charge of everything and very polite. The Chinese lady, her spoken English is very impressive. Then again, she is doing her degree in a Uni so that is expected. Nevertheless good job to these two personnel.

● The hotel is very well decorated and with an amazing good taste.
● Amazing indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam room.

We checked in on 26th Sept., 2020 & out on 27th Sept., 2020.

We stayed in a Super Twin Room #111. We were quite happy with the room & services provided by the staffs. Ms.Jess in particular was very hospitable and concerned about our stay. There was a male staff from the F & B Section GF who was quite pleasing for us to have encountered with. Having said that the Breakfast was very normal.

There were some minor teething shortcoming such as the housekeeping could provide a spare tissue roll instead the guest having to request for an additional one. There was no shampoo but we had 2 bottles of body gel.

The access road to Moty Hotel is definitely quite jammed. I am not sure whether it is seasonal or only happened at certain occasion.

Overall, the stay was quite a pleasant one.....the room was very clean except maybe the wardrobe was a little dusty.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights in August 2024. It was a lovely surprise, the hotel price is average but the service is excellent. The bed and the bedding were really comfortable - the room spacious - breakfast had a great selection and the staff was super helpful. My husband forgot his glasses and the staff was really collaborative in sending them immediately. We will stay here again.

Only parking by the roadside by coupons (free for weekend) or under the flyover, not sure how much as I didn’t park there. I didn’t feel too secure so I used steering wheel lock.
