Located in middle of city. Just walk for 10 to 15min to Jonker Walk. Free parking at back of hotel. Room smaller than expected. Pool need to booking because only limited number can swim at one time. Quite variety choices of breakfast. Staffs were friendly.

Obviously overrated considering the high room rate, the size of the room, the design, the breakfast and the amenities. Room rate: rm520 per night for a four bedded room. I was checking in with a very high expectation but I was shocked seeing the size of the room. Size: Extremely cramped with only existing beds not to mention adding in extra bed (rm90 per night). No space to even walk. Design: The exterior is nicely done as well as most the common areas. However, the room has a mixture of different concepts- the ceiling looks quite modern with cement rendering, the lighting is kinda industrial, the panel and the furniture is local malay, the painting is Bali/ phuket, the tv cabinet/ dressing table is very budget hotel-like. The bathroom has nothing wrong in term of design. However, the basin counter top is cheaply done, there is a full clear bright window just besides the toilet bowl open up to a construction site behind the hotel. I was having a wrong impression like I am actually staying at a beach side villa at phuket- the exhaust fan ran like a long tail boat. Be aware of the pebbles floor beside the pool before you step down- the stone literally super sharp. Cannot imagine if a kid runs over it. Breakfast: Very limited choices. The worst part: I was asking for butter. The staff told me: oh…we have ordered for months and the supplier never send. Come on! We are talking about butter, not lobster! There was no any butter the second morning too. Service: No housekeeping unless you stay at least 3 nights. Is this a hostel instead? I was totally speechless after 2 nights stay. I have no ideas at all on why this hotel has such a high ranking?

Booked the Grand Family room, rather underwhelmed to be honest. The raving reviews belies the reality of a rather dated hotel. As shown in the wear and tears from the scuffed furniture, to broken bath tiles, to the extensive water damage stains on the window sill. Wifi was heinously spotty, and at times non-existent. It's sad to see that in this day and age, stained linens are still offered by any hospitality establishement. For a class of rooms deemed 'Grand', it didn't feel that way as I looked out of the windows onto a construction site and or dark creepy alley. In line with the nature of boutique hotels being more or less dressed up budget hotels, I wasn't expecting much fanfare for breakfast, and was adequately disappointed. The bulk of praises being sung about this establishment was from pre-pandemic times, concluding on it either being that they have lowered their standards somewhat since then, or my own is too high. The latter of which I do not believe so, as I have reviewed many boutique and budget offerings very favourably, quiet a few right here in Melaka. On a positive note, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Keep what's working (them), and fix what's not.

This was our second stay at Treasures and it did not disappoint! The hotel is gorgeous with Balinese style fittings and decor. The infinity style pool on the roof top is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Beds, pillows and sheets are so soft and comfortable and feels like it is high-end. Breakfast is fantastic, we experienced both buffet and al a carte and both had a great variety of tasty, fresh foods. The service is what makes this hotel stand out from the rest. Every single staff member was lovely and approachable, nothing was ever too much trouble. We could not find any faults in our stay at Treasures and will definitely return when in Melaka.

Beautiful artsy boutique hotel, new and clean. Love its airy spacious breakfast place. The double bed family suite is smaller than expected. Love its functional big bathroom, the kids enjoyed playing in the tub. All the staff are very friendly and prompt. We’d the aircon dripping on the first night and quickly fixed the next day. Didn’t manage to swim as wasn’t updated of the pool reopening without preparing the swim wears. Can just park the car there and walk to the Jonker area to avoid the congestion. It’s a 10 min walk one way, sometimes can be still rather tiring for young kids.

Stayed in Grand Family 2 Queen Room from Fri to Sun in early October. Room and bathroom (double sink!) were spacious and clean. (Sometimes, could hear some noise from other rooms/guests but still acceptable, no problem at all to sleep or relax.) Hotel, breakfast area, small green spaces - all tastefully decorated, simple but unmistakenly Malacca inspired. A beautiful hotel... just like the images posted by the hotel in the website, if not it is even better when we were there to see and experience the ambience. Staff size may seem small but each of them are wonderful and hospitable, equivalent to what you may experience at 5 star hotels. This made us feel very welcomed and we always look forward to be back to the hotel after exploring the city. Staff was prompt and responsive to our requests eg swimming pool towels, checking the window latch, plastic bags for dirty laundry, additional toiletries, etc. So, we were well taken care. Several good cafes/restaurants are within walking distance (eg Samfu, Bulldog, Sharing Plates). Also have shops selling Chinese herbs, sewing crafts etc - a wonderful discovery (opposite Samfu). Easy to get Grab transport since we were lazy to drive. Location is perfect cos it is near to Jonkers and Redhouse. If you prefer to stay in the room, hotel provides some games. We enjoyed ourselves so much with the card games. Wifi is strong too. This will be our first choice to stay in our next trip to Malacca.
