Nice and tidy rooms and a beautiful garden. Good breakfast and cheap cold drinks. Very friendly and helpful family and staff. Ten minutes to walk to the sights of Malacca. Best price for a beautiful and cozy place like this.
A lovely little guesthouse perfect for budget travellers! The rooms whilst not being perfect are quaint, and the staff are very attentive! Breakfast is lovely and the outside garden area is also very sweet. We played chess out in the garden numerous times! Location is fantastic and there is a lovely street food place just round the corner that the hotel (and I) recommends!
Not our first visit, and for sure not our last one. Excellent spot to stay in Melaka and get the kampung vibes. Unique to enjoy this garden so well maintained. Every morning we enjoyed a different simple local breakfast, highly appreciated by all the guests. 5 stars.
Situated in a house constructed in 1912. As there are only eight rooms and the owners live in the same house, you will really have the feeling to be staying in a friend’s house. Also helps how careful and attentive are the owners, Kenny and his wife Linda, with their guests. In the morning you will enjoy a very good breakfast. Everyday you will be able to try different local sweets and salty snacks, combined with seasonal fruits and unlimited toasted bread with butter, jams and kaya. And to drink with it, you will have as much tea and coffee as you need to wake up. The rooms are simple, but nice and clean, some of them with AC and others with fan. Since there are not many rooms after the second night spent there you will already know all the other guests and also even if it’s…
I am very happy to find this homestay next to tourist spots, only 7 min away from santiago hill, red square etc. The neighbourhood is quite safe next to a high school and five star hotel. The house itself is wood structure, I like the atmosphere and the owner is very informative and helpful. There's a big garden outside, I played with their fat cute rabbits all the time. The price is quite low compared to many houses around. It's not easy to find the place tho, cos it's hidden in some alley but I'm sure if you are next to the high school and ask around, they will tell you.
