This guest house is the true gem of Malacca! Stayed here for 3 nights, wish I could stay longer! In addition to the super clean room and common areas, the best thing about this place is the friendly owners who treated me like a real friend. I was the only guest during my stay as it was in the low...

We stayed here for the first 3 nights of a 4wk tour around Malaysia. I hope the other guesthouses we visit along the way are nearly as good as this. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Rooms are comfortable with good air con. It's a 5-10min walk to the local sights. Chua was a great host. He went out of...

What can I say, I loved this place! From the moment you walk up the stairs the art work captures your eye and continues on throughout every room of the building. The communal areas are gorgeous with loads of comfortable seating, hanging egg chairs, tables for eating, books to exchange and big glass windows. The rooms are great, with windows...

Clean (no shoes inside the house has a reason!), quiet and peaceful (no pubertal party crowd), big rooms with good bathroom facilities, very appealing sitting area with a library, kitchen facilities, free (selfcatering) breakfast, lots of information, great recommendations from the host (food, sights, transport - you name it) Washing-line and if you ask, you might get your laundry done...

We stayed for a 3 nights in Old Town Guesthouse, but could have stayed longer if we had the time. The owner, Chua is lovely and very knowledgeable about Melaka and the rest of Malaysia. He helped us plan our stay in Melaka and with where to go next in Malaysia. The guest house is clean and comfortable, and the...

We stayed for 4 nights with our family. Centrally located, extremely clean, very nice communal areas. Friendly and informed owner. Highly recommend. Good value too. I really loved the location as it feels more 'real' but yet within minutes walking of all Melaka has to offer.

We had a great 4 nights here! It's an easy walk to the old town and close to loads of cheap and delicious restaurants. Chua is what made this place really great though - he's so friendly and helpful. And the decorations on all the walls are amazing!

The owner was so kind and welcoming as soon as we arrived. He gave us a lot of information about the area, including where to go and where to eat. We were very grateful for his time and knowledge. The room was very clean, just like all the communal areas. And our air con worked well, and the wifi was...

Cool and quirky guesthouse, walls decorated with paintings, some were buildings from around Melaka. Owners were really nice and knowledgeable, always more than willing to give advice on places to visit and where to eat! We had a private double room (all with shared bathrooms). Everywhere was extremely clean, air con worked perfectly. Also a very nice communal area. Breakfast...
