My experience staying overnight was not pleasant. Toilet cleanliness is poor, shower handle is rusty & broken. Safety box is not working & Technician couldnt fix it. Change to another room, same thing happened. Gave up to complain about it. The Malay lady in the reception is not friendly to the customer. Please improve your customer service.

The Kings Hotel has two blocks viz., the hotel block that fronts a busy thoroughfare and an apartment block at the back of the hotel block. I stayed in a studio apartment which was a large room with a bed, a sofa and a dining desk, with a bathroom and balcony. The location is midway from the highway toll exit to the Melaka town. Opposite the hotel is a medical centre.

The furnishing of the studio apartment was just average and of 2.5 star quality. However the room was clean and the same goes for the property. There is a large car park in front of the apartment block, so those who drive would have no problem finding parking space.

This hotel is suitable for those who are visiting friends and relatives in the vicinity. It is too far from the Melaka town where most points of interests are located. Although nearby there is a zoo, recreational forest, butterfly park, etc., there are some higher-quality hotels in that area.

I would say this hotel is just a place if you want to have a clean and comfortable place to sleep. What surprised me was the quality of the breakfast buffet comprising local fare. The spread was thin, but the quality was better than I expected of hotel of this class. The nasi lemak, chicken rendang and some other dishes were quite authentic.

Book a superior rm for a night stay on 4th jan. Easily spotted along the main road. Also have a private carpark at the apartment side, feel quiet safe parking the car there. Room are generally clean n neat. If you are no fussy type, it's a good place to stay for a night or 2. Aircon is abit slow in cooling the room fast. My friend who stay next door is not so lucky, her room aircon is abit noisy even though is on low. Free Wifi - password provided on request. Good!
Breakfast provided - local style food like Nasi Lemak(coconutilk rice), Mee, chicken rendang, chicken ham, mashed or wedge potatoes, .....bread, porridge. Fried eggs. :)

Pancake don't take good, taste abit sour. We order plain and the other with peanut butter. :( !

Will come back next time. About 20 mins drive to the Melaka town center.

Thank you for the compliments of the Hotel. We are located near the main highway towards the city. So its a bit noisy. Parking charges in front of the Hotel are beyond our control as it is imposed by the Municipality. To save cost its better to park behind the Hotel in front of the Apartment block. It belongs to the Hotel. Thank you.

Just had a two nights stay with family of 4 from 14th June to 16th June at Kings Hotel Ayer Keroh Melaka. We were at Melaka because of swimming competition at nearby Hang Jebat Stadium and I immediately made a booking for the coming November swim meet which will be held at the same stadium.

We really felt like King when we request to have our buffet breakfast to be served by 6:30 am ( Normal time is 7:00am) due to the need of early departure and without failed our requests were complied with a smile. Even though the chefs start work at 6:00am but just for a family, the chefs need to get the breakfast by 6:30. All staffs from the reception to the dining area seem to know about our request.

The food is excellent especially the mee goring and very reasonable pricing. The superior room is comfortable and the only down side is only 1 card to given, this has caused us some inconvenience when I need to go out and only come back after my children slept, need to ring the bell in their sleep.

Overall this is THE place to be.

The hotel is easily located (right beside the main road and not far from Ayer Keroh exit)). The hotel lobby doesn't seem like a budget hotel at all and the staff was friendly. I was rather impressed with the cleanliness of the room. For budget hotel standard, the room were big, clean and tidy (we had connecting rooms). The room decor was very basics and simple. Breakfast provided were average (not much varieties), and the ambience for the cafe were pleasant! This is one of the good budget hotels I ever stayed in and I won’t hesitate to stay here again in future! In short, it's still worth a stay!
For those who want to avoid the traffic jam in town area, this hotel would be good to stay. It is near to shopping malls and attractions like zoo, parks, etc.. It is also not very far from town.
On the down side, having located near to the main road, it could be noisy at times. And if the front car park is full, the next one will be quite a distance (at the back of the hotel).

I was there for one night in the Superior room, I was rather impressed with the clean room with 1 queen and single bed. It's rather worthy as it came with buffet breakfast for 2. The hotel lobby doesn't seem like a budget hotel at all. The staff were friendly too.

The only drawback is the car park which is located behind the hotel block within 5 minutes walk which i did not feel safe about. In short, it's still worth a stay!

I had stayed at this hotel last week since i had a bad experience at best western Hotel Malacca last few months. I notice that this hotel are installed the new Branded LCD TV and new Key Lock System, they also provide a good quality hair dryer in the rooms. Now only the furniture are look a bit old, but still clean. I like this hotel because of there have 2 F&B outlets with a nyonya cafe and thai restaurant. Both of the restaurants also furnished with nice design. One more things which make me so surprised and very satisfied things is i notice there no have wifi problems anymore, because last year when i came with my husband, we are face the internet problems, after i chat with the receptionist, they told me they already upgrade the wifi. will recommend to my friends when they are travel to Malacca.

Last month when I check in to this hotel I was irritated by some of the drilling and hacking noice. I made a complaint and the front office executive explaint to me that they are upgrading their door lock set to electronic lock set for better security to guest. This month when I check in again there are drilling noice again and their explaination was installing new LCD TV. As a customer I definitely support the effort by the hotel to upgrade their facilities but they must ensure the disturbance to the customer are keep to minimum and should give some discount for those who affected by the upgrading work. Any how this still a good hotel I will come back after they completed their upgrading work.

Stay here for business trip. Too noisy. Noise from the road and music from cafe is just too loud. The power point is yoo far from bed. Not convenience for working on laptop . If not because near to my workplace, else I won't choose this place. Found lots of ants on the basin in toilet

Thank you for the feedback regarding your stay at our Hotel on 1st July. Firstly I would like to apologize for the noise you had encountered during your stay. The traffic noise you heard day and night is because the Hotel is situated beside the main highway. The music you heard from the cafe is a band that entertains our buka puasa guests every evening. I have posted this message on our facebook page before the Ramadhan started. It will end on 14th July. I will look into the problem of ants in the basin and apologize again for this. Thank you.
